To your point about playing w/ Bron, it did appear that Kawhi chose not to play with him so is it a stretch to think Dame might feel the same way?

Kawhi and LeBron play the same position.

Butler is delusional enough to believe he's just as good.

Kyrie won a chip and wanted to be the man.

George plays the same position and was upset that the Lakers didn't trade for him.

Dame knows he can't win as the #1 with a scoring only #2 in CJ.

His game is perfect to pair with Lebron.

why would the Blazers deal Lillard for Ball?

Do you really think Ball has any kind of substantial value at this point after his shooting woes and already having knee surgery?

Maybe if he re-establishes some value- but id rather have Sexton than Ball if i had to choose either one at this point in time.

I wouldn't trade Dame for Lonzo AND Sexton.

No, the Blazers would be insane. It would probably take Ball and Ingram.

Lonzo most definitely would need to play well to reestablish any value in a trade for a elite player like Lillard.

Oh I completely agree they would be good compliments to each other's game. But my point was more of him not wanting to play w/ Bron because Dame craves the spot light. If he plays with Bron (especially in LA) he will then have to live with being the #2 - and I think we can agree that is not what Dame wants.

Much as it pains me, Klay is probably the most perfect Robin to LeBrons Batman out there. But the Ws will max him if that's what it takes. They can do so if KD leaves , which it's looking more and more like.

If the Dubs are back to the core 3 they stop winning titles (fine with me they will have 4 in 5 yrs). Maybe Boogie gets them another but at some point the movie has to end.
