Is he more mobile than Boban?

Yes.

But so is the oak tree in my front yard.

Maybe he is a bit more mobile than I am giving him credit for, but UCF's defensive schemes kept him within 8 feet of the rim at all times. You can't get away with that anymore in the NBA.

I just don't think his theoretical upside is high enough to justify risking a pick on him. I would rather draft a more versatile player who fits the modern game, then maybe get Taco on the summer league team.

And if someone else wants to burn a pick on him, then let them.

Yeah, to be clear, when I say "take a flyer", I'm talking about signing him as an undrafted FA or a very late 2nd round pick if there isn't anyone that could fill a need or looks like they can stick in the league.

Imo, his ceiling in today's game is a guy whose brought in for 15 or so minutes per game as a rim protector/rebounder/dunker. Even though he is more mobile than anyone I've seen at his size, he still isn't a guy who's going to be getting to the perimeter to challenge outside shots or defending the pick and roll.

I dont care who won, to be clear, but they got screwed.

The only way a ref could/would blow a whistle that fast would be if they were anticipating the Wolves would foul.
Thats not their job.
Any other point of the game, its a continuation play.

And, if the refs are anticipating whats going to happen, then you never make that last call against Durant.
There was 0% chance they were scoring off that pass.

There is that type of jersey holding at some point of nearly every possession in the game, and for sure on every inbounds play.

Honestly based off the NBA's way off calling continuation....yeah probably should be a 4 pt play. Wolves got screwed on one was worse last year against Pheonix I believe. But by logical, nah.

Anyways, the initial point as the Warriors constantly bitch. Not just those two plays, but all game every game. And post game

Warriors furious with refs after OT loss to Wolves

They don't laugh things off, they complain like babies.

Clippers are going to the playoffs.

But, it will be a short stay.

No 1st rounder.

So, I'm rummaging the bargain bin for end of the 2nd round steals.

@tlance , @WiggyRuss, @CitySushi ....

Do you guys see Taco Fall...falling....to the mid/end of the 2nd round?

I'd take a flyer on him there.

My dream picks....

1. Caleb Martin Nevada

2. Taco Fall UCF

3. Carsen Edwards Purdue

4. Jalen Mcdaniels SDSU

I am super curious about Brian Bowen and Darius Bazely.

Did Klutch Shit the bed having Bazely sit out and work a
" internship" or are they trying to steer him to their destination of choice?
I have high hopes for Jalen McDaniels as a pro, was hoping he'd stay at SDSU another year but expected him to leave. Kings should use one of their 2nd round picks on him if he's available.

He's a good enough defensive player to get those mpg......offensively he's super raw so no more than that.....but I think he can play.

No he isn't though.

Zubac could barely get in the rotation for years.

Why?

Because he can't guard pick and roll. And he is a much better offensive player and probably more mobile than Taco.

As a big man, if you can't guard pick and roll, you aren't a good defender. Rim protection is secondary because opposing teams aren't going to let a guy like Taco stand in the paint. They will use ball screens or a perimeter 5 to lure him outside where he will get exploited.

It is possible He might develop into a decent NBA defender in time, but there is simply no way he will be that as a rookie.

Get the avatar ready.

The other bet has some time since we're a few games behind you and own the tie-breaker since we won the season series 3-1.

And we're hot all the fucking sudden winning 3 of the last 4.

Kemba Walker is 0-28 vs LeBron James. Includes pre-season, reg season, and AS games.

0-for.

Just saw the ending of warriors/wolves.

The refs made the correct call both times.

The last play on Durant was a clear as day foul. Literally nothing to complain about on that play

Okay, bud.

Hope you're living the dream.
Winning an avatar bet on sportshoop.la is a dream-like scenario, the rest of life not as dreamy.

I'm one of the few that actually likes KCP. But he drives me nucking futs. lol

He plays good defense and obviously, he can score.

The problem is, he is too inconsistent and streaky with his scoring. He'll have stretches offensively where it looks like he couldn't start for a bad high school JV team...

Then he has stretches like this where you can make a case for him being an all star caliber player.

There doesn't even seem to be anything that one can put their finger on as to the the reason either. It just seems to come and go with no real rhyme or reason.

I was also one who didn't understand why the Pistons gave up on him because his defense was vital to the team and Stanley never made a big enough offensive improvement to warrant it.

He is a frustrating guy but it's hard to say it's effort because he plays good D.

I agree. I really think that the only reason he was brought back was because he's a Klutch client. Hopefully, that will hold less sway this off-season.

If they do bring back any of the 3 you mentioned, KCP would be the one I'd want. But yeah, I'd rather bring in a guy like Beverley and just be done with all 3.

Mecca has an eye for acquisitions.

Beverley would be a solid get, if he didn't want outlandish cash.
