Sounds Like the team receiving the player getting signed and traded has to be below the apron.

• The team receiving the player cannot be above the "Apron" (see question number 20) at the conclusion of the trade1, 2. A team above the Apron can receive a player in a sign-and-trade if the trade reduces the team's payroll and the team finishes the trade below the Apron.

Also I was at the game on Friday against the Nuggets which was probably the Warriors best game all year. They put together an amazing defensive performance and kept the Nuggets at bay all night.

But Klay last game blasted the fans and I 1000000% agree with him. I sat in the lower bowl and basically there was zero enthusiasm from the stands. It's crazy. It's like no one knew the Warriors were playing the 2nd best team in the Western Conference. I was literally the first one up out of my seat before everyone else when big plays were happening.

The fans in the arena are super weak. The upper deck is still lit though, but any fans in the lower bowl don't know what the fuck is going on.

How much have ticket prices in the lower bowl gone up over the years?

Because rich people usually don't cheer as loud as regular folk.

Except for Steve Balmer and Mark Cuban.

Only thing I question is are they really better off with Gasol over JV? 3-5 years ago Gasol, sure. But still? But either way, they are still a team to reckon with.

Guy I think got a raw deal there was Casey. Nothing against Nurse, but they had the same winning % last year as they do this one. Team Casey took over - Detroit - looks more formidable with Casey.

But Toronto isn't thinking about next year. They are going for it right now. That became apparent as soon as they dealt for Kawhi and Green.

As for Casey, I don't know. He is a solid coach. But he had his chances and never got them over the hump. They needed a new voice, IMO.

I forget who said it, but 1 HOF coach said he thought an NBA coach had a 3-5 year window with the same core where he is actually adding value. After awhile, players start to tune out because they grow tired of hearing the same message.

Lakers president Magic Johnson’s decisions last summer mostly backfired. (LeBron James signing with the Lakers was LeBron’s, not Johnson’s, decision.)

The Lakers let Julius Randle and Brook Lopez walk in free agency then signed Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley.

Randle is having a solid season for the Pelicans. Lopez is thriving with the Bucks.

Rondo, Stephenson and Beasley have collectively underwhelmed. The Lakers will almost certainly miss the playoffs.

The consequence in Los Angeles: Lakers coach Luke Walton will probably get fired after the season.

But maybe Walton tried to get himself a better roster.

Johnson ignored the pleas of the coaching staff that he retain Brook Lopez and Julius Randle.

Let’s assume this happened. Did the coaching staff have any unheeded roster advice that doesn’t look as good in hindsight? That probably won’t leak to the public. This is selective and self-serving.

NBA coaches generally must earn roster input. Walton hadn’t. The Lakers were bad last season with Walton coaching Lopez and Randle.

Though Randle seemingly made expected progress given his age, Lopez was really unlocked by Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer. That might not have happened with Walton in Los Angeles.

Nobody deserves more blame for the Lakers’ failures than Johnson, who assembled an ill-fitting roster abound LeBron. Johnson must do better this summer.

But listening more to Walton isn’t the simple answer.

Don't completely disagree, but seems the only guy he could not get past was Lebron and the Cavs who no one in the East could beat. Stevens also couldn't get by him, though pretty sure Casey was there a lot longer than stevens has been in Boston.

They got swept by a mediocre Cavs team last year.

The whole series might have gone down differently had Toronto win either game on their home court, but if you get swept by that Cavs team with home court, then you got to go.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Lakers have rescinded their qualifying offer to Randle, which officially makes him an unrestricted free agent and able to sign with any team:

This deal wouldn't make them SPLASHtastic on a Pacific Ocean level, like having Durant.

But, Damn if they couldn't still drown your ass in 3's in that above ground swimming pool.

The other long-shot option to replace Durant would be to execute a sign-and-trade. There is certainly little hope of that with the Knicks now that they have opened up two max slots. However the Clippers, should Durant decide to join Jerry West (who let’s not forget was crucial in recruiting Durant to the Warriors) and another max star there, might be interested.

The Clippers currently don’t quite have enough cap room for two max salaries due to the combination of Danilo Gallinari’s salary ($22.6m) and Lou Williams ($8m). So they would presumably be quite happy to move off that salary in order to carve out enough space for another max player. For the Warriors, if Durant is leaving for nothing, a sign-and-trade for a package centered around Gallinari and Williams would work out nicely. Gallinari can play the starting small forward or small-ball power forward and would be a nice fit around the core of Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, and Green. What’s more Gallinari’s contract only runs through 2019/20, meaning it frees up the Warriors cap space the following summer. Meanwhile, Williams would add the sort of scoring punch off the bench the Warriors have never had.

I can't speak for the other Dubs' fans you tagged, but..I'm pretty sure the FO won't do a S & T deal with KD if it's to a division rival.
