oh, this is just on that Hunt stuff? weak ass kick. also not domestic violence as that was not a domestic situation.

Yeah, it was assault and battery.

That makes it much better.

Well, ya know, except for that part where he pushed a kicked a woman.

obviously a shitty thing to do, but just like to make sure the proper labels are attached.

Proper labeling is definitely important.
i mean, it's been a minute since i saw the video, but the "kick" that was reported and TMZ did their screenshot on, wasn't really anything, it was an ersan level flop. whatever happened up to that and his previous shit, again, not cool. with that said, for the sanctimonious chiefs fans here, they didn't kick him out because they saw that video, they cut him because he lied about the incident.

SPURS dont seem to want to lose at home.
They have handled the Bucks, Raptors, Warriors, Nuggets, Blazers, Thunders, Celts, 76ers, Utah all relatively easily.

But, they suck on the road.
Losses to Knicks, Bulls, Suns, Orlando, etc..

They seem destined to give some high seed a very grueling 7 game series in the first round trading home wins.
Although Derick White has played most of the home games, and missed a bunch of the road games as well.

Yeah, the problem for him though, regardless of the circumstances or how weak the kick was, it just can't happen.

With all of the issues around the NFL over players abusing women and the NFL cracking down on it like they are...he's got to know better.

100%, the first post i saw on this was someone invoking how this wouldn't be stood for as a catholic (perhaps christian) just found that to be amusing without even knowing this was the event in question and guess my original comment played, as he was moved to a new team.

Hotels have security. He needed to call them. He could have just left the room and called them.

And I am sure he would tell you the same.

Not as easy to make that decision in the Heat of the moment.

And I am not making excuses for his actions. He deserves the consequences he received.

But he also deserves a second chance, IMO.

A cool thing about Colin Sexton- one of the biggest knocks on him coming out of college was his 3pt shot.

One of the beat reporters for the Cavs just said that the Cavs practice facility tracks all the shots in a well:

Inside the spacious Independence practice facility, the Cleveland Cavaliers have an internal monitoring system that tracks all players’ shots.

Earlier this season, 9,000 were hoisted in one week. Collin Sexton accounted for 3,000.

Sexton just broke the Cavs rookie record for 3 pointers in a season, and is shooting 39% from 3 on the season.

One thing I liked about Sexton in the draft was that he is a high quality guy with an incredible work ethic--- that work ethic helped him turn a weakness into a strength.

He is going to be a damn good player.

I saw him live for the first time last week and was impressed with his offensive game.

Could the Warriors really lose to the Suns at home?

For all the crap the Suns have caught, they are a player away from being decent, and maybe 2 away from being pretty damn good.

I have no problem with him getting a second chance. Never said I did.

My only point in all of it is that these players have to be smarter than this.

With the number of incidents that have happened, the hit the NFL's reputation has taken because of it and the fact that they finally appear to be taking it seriously and cracking down on it, they can't be doing this shit.

Heat of the moment isn't being accepted as an excuse any more. These guys have to do better.

Hunt is lucky he's still young and very talented. If he was an older player or a career backup type, he'd likely be out of the league.

domestic abuse is when you injure a family member.

assault and battery- depending on how your state defines it, under the common law a battery is an unlawful touching. in Ohio they follow the model penal code though which does not do battery and instead calls everything an "assault".

what he would have done is an assault and battery- not domestic violence.
I thought someone said it was a girlfriend. If that is the case, then it is domestic abuse. If she wasnt then you're right

8-39 from 3?

Did someone replace them with the Lakers?

Didn't help that Durant rolled his ankle and left tie game with 6 minutes left or so. Finished 10-43 from 3.

But the Warriors are sooooo bored, can we just start the playoffs now?

In 3 days they go to Houston, who is only 4 back and smells the 1 seed. Feels like another loss.

Anytime the Warriors lose it is because they're bored or someone is hurt lmao

Doesn't hurt to give credit to give the opponent credit once in a blue

Credit to the Suns, they were the better team tonight. They hit more shots, and wanted it more.

You ok now?
