I live in Columbus. It's a college town filled with girls 18-21 from around the world. My housing is priced reasonably and it's going to be 66 degrees here next Thursday, the same temp as in LA lol

Why do college girls being there matter? Are you a predator?

It would be awesome if the Kings and Magic somehow made the playoffs this season because than the only 2 franchises not to make it in the last 6 years would be the Knicks and Lakers. Lol.

You'd be wrong.....the Suns and Kings say hi.

I'd guess LB is late 30's, early 40's.

Think he may have stated that before, can't remember but it sounds vaguely familiar.

Ummm, Heat have essentially the same record as the Lakers. Not sure that helps your argument.
I don't need to help my argument.

Other teams have had injuries and they are still in the playoff hunt.

The Lakers are playing for ping pong balls.

Yes, the Heat are in the East.

But, what about the Clippers?

What about the Kings?

If your young cast is as good as some of you think, shouldn't they have a better record?

No.

Because your whole team quit.

Using Lebron's injury is just a convenient excuse.

The Lakers had plenty of time to turn it around.

But, they didn't because the young guys are in their feelings and the 1 year contract guys are who we thought they were.

Lakers are 4-8 with Lebron since his return. They were 20-14 with Lebron before his injury. Playoffs were clearly reachable when he came back from his injury so yea that is a very convenient excuse

Furthermore, it's just not realistic to expect LeBron, at 34, and already having played over 200 more NBA games than Michael Jordan ever did in his career, to be the model of good health though.

If I were to bet, at the beginning of the season, whether LeBron played 72.5 games, I would have taken the under.

When you are 34, have an insane amount of miles, just got done playing the most minutes in the NBA last season, and were coming to a team where you would be expected to carry more of the load then anytime in the last what? decade? (since you have been playing with at LEAST one, if not 2 all stars for a long time) it stands to reason that he was not going to play 82 games.

its just so fucked up, from a Cleveland fans pov, how much Kyrie and LeBron helped eachother.

Right now each of them are going through immense struggles. Each are getting fried in the media to a certain extent for their selfishness.

They both could very easily still be on the Cavs, could still be favored to get out of the East, could have a great shot at winning a title.

PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Cedi Osman
SF: LeBron James
PF: KEvin Love
C: Tristan Thompson

would without a doubt be favored to come out of the East.

Instead, LeBron is not even going to make the playoffs and just broke MJ's scoring record in an arena that no one even cared (where he would have had thunderous applause in CLE).

Kyrie has made himself look like an ass more times than I can count on an underachieving Celtics squad.

just like Kobe and Shaq- EGO broke up that pairing long before it made sense to to break it up and the Cleveland fans, LeBron, and Kyrie are all paying the price.

The Cavs are going to have one more year that is rough....

next year will still probably be a pretty damn rough year.

However, after next year, the books are totally clean besides Sexton, Love and Nance. Hopefully they resign Osman and work something out with him for like 10-15M a year.

Next year the Cavs have a TON of expiring contracts to move. It is going to be crazy to see what they can do:

-Tristan Thompson 18.5M expiring contract. A contender would LOVE to add him- a guy with toughness, unselfish and loads of playoff experience while getting off a bad contract.

-Jordan Clarkson 14M expiring contract. A contender would LOVE to add him- an ideal 6th man scorer for a playoff run.

-John Henson- 11M expiring contract. A contender would LOVE to add him- another rotation big that can play D and get up and down the court.

-Mathew Dellavadoa- 11M expiring contract. Again, a very nice backup pg that could play some D and hit a 3. Ill tell ya this- LeBron would love having him in LA to come off the bench.

-Brandon Knight- 15M expiring contract. IF he can get back into shape he would be a nice scorer for a team- or just a nice expiring contract for a team to get off some bad money.

This is going to be a 2-3 year rebuild and the short term pain is going to be offset by some nice boosts/speeding up of the rebuild. Almost 70M in expiring deals next year and most with pretty good role players that could help contenders.

Altman has done a pretty good job.
