He's never lived in Cleveland
in my case id be just going back to the early 80's anyways, and dropping every dollar I have into Microsoft...
If the Lakers don't add major assets this summer, the signing of James will turn into huge mistake/miscalculation IMO.
yeah,.....pretty uglyOhio in general then.
Agree not a mistake to give it a go, but it's a failure if they don't become at least a title contender. It's never a mistake. When you have an opportunity like that, you take it and see if you can make it work. I don't have any pie-in-the-sky expectations beyond improvement and hopefully luring the NEXT max asset into LA to take over as Lebron fades with age. Maybe that combo gets them into finals contention, but not before.
Hahaha none of that matters if he is winning. Had the worst season of his career record-wise and it was bc of the Lakers, lack of FO, lack of coaching. One of the worst team makeups and offseason that I have ever seen surrounded a top player. You couldn't do worse if you tried.
Everyone in the past always talked about how the Cavs didn't do enough to keep Lebron, didn't get the players at one time, etc....that isn't even close to how bad the FO has been for the Lakers. The Cavs spent for Lebron and actually got a FA. YOU ARE THE LAKERS and your recent drafts have been so bad you can't trade young players and picks for a top player. What a joke, really a joke of a franchise presently. I would be embarrassed to be a Laker fan right now
Heat without Dragic?
8th seed.
But LA has that Lebron guy.Ummm, Heat have essentially the same record as the Lakers. Not sure that helps your argument.

I think signing him is not a mistake....the mistakes were the moves that followed.I wasn't suggesting you don't take the risk. 1000% you do.
That doesn't mean it can't equate into a mistake.
I'll never be embarrassed for being a Laker fan. That's reserved for the typical bottom dwellers of the league, those teams without multiple trophies.
Drafts have been so bad? Coming from a Cavs fan, lol? Is your memory that short?
Russell was an all star this year, Randle is excelling in NO, Ingram is averaging 27.8 ppg since the all-star break, Kuzma was a late 1st round steal, trading Kuzma suddenly is being called a mistake, and even Bryant is emerging with the Wiz. Wagner finally got some run last night and looked pretty good. That seems like they've hit on just about all of their picks, even if some have been moved in trades or due to cap concerns (that's where the mistakes lie).
Weird retort after you said this in a previous post - "Can we borrow your time machine"I'll never be embarrassed for being a Laker fan. That's reserved for the typical bottom dwellers of the league, those teams without multiple trophies.

Pretty sure as a Cav he spent much of his offseasons in LA. Stands to reason now that he's a Laker he'd do the same.He still lives in Bath, Ohio in the offseason
