I'm not ripping those guys, but my comments are not opinion. CP to Houston, Cousins to NO, Kyrie to the Cs, Kawhi to Toronto, Porzingis to Dallas, the Cavs 40 deadline deals, Mirotic to Milwaukee, Harris to Philly, etc. were a surprise to pretty much everyone.
Your comments are pure folly.

They don't get every deal.

Those few examples are the exception, not the rule.

Vegas doesn't win every bet.

Pretty sure they have enough inside info to make informed decisions.

That's why we call them experts.

You are wrong.

You know it.

I know it.

We all know it.

I might be in the minority.

But, I'd take Vuc over Boogie.

His attitude hasn't improved.

Hell of a player.

But, you only put up with his shenanigans because his talent eclipses the knucklheadedry.

I'm not positive that's still the case.

agreed...

let's face facts. Boogies attitude was always gonna be a factor...

Beal is currently posting stats on a bad team, but they aren't that empty. They just don't have very many quality NBA players on their active roster.

But Beal has also shown in the past that he was 1B to John Wall on some good, not great teams that were able to win playoff series.

Beal is a good player, not a great one, but he fits well in the current era of the NBA and would fit great with LeBron.
ehhhh i mean i guess they won in the first round here or there....

did you know the Wizards have not made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs since the *1978-1979 season? lol

thats like pre Magic/Bird dark ages TV tape delay era that doesnt even count. if you ask me

dude, thats bad.

Yeah, I don't think Demps could have traded AD if he wanted to.

Lakers should have seen the writing on the wall and held back after their second offers received no counter.

They had to realize (like all of us did) that it was always in NOs best interest to wait until summer.

Yeah, I think that's where the inexperience of Magic and Pelinka (especially Magic) hurt them.

I think that they thought the Pels were actually negotiating in good faith and by the time they realized they were being played, it was too late and they had already let the situation get away from them.

That's why, while I love that Magic and Pelinka are running things, I think (and said at the time) that I would have liked to see them keep Mitch Kupchak around for at least a couple of seasons as an adviser. I don't think this gets away from them if he's there.

Sure, when deals are done in principal woj finds out. No disagreement. But he doesn't know before they are agreed upon by the teams.
Lmfao

How do you know he doesn't know?

Dude, just stop.

You are wrong.

You said Davis didn't mention a list.

He did.

You said Woj didn't have inside info he was just guessing.

He wasn't, that was Davis' list.

"Those few"? What other big deals have been made the last couple years? He got none of them until the deals were agreed to.

I just think its the first time Anthony Davis, himself, actually spoke without people putting words in his mouth or trying to push their own agendas.
I want to see if he sticks with Rich after all is said and done.

You have to think he's the Celtics to lose.

But, whoever gets the #1 or 2 pick, looking at you Knicks, has a better chance than the Lakers now.

And, yes, he did guess on the list, as even Davis said it wasn't his list. All you did was prove my point. They guessed.

Oh my.

Knox and the #1 or #2 pick, and maybe Ntilikina, is a pretty damn good offer.

First, Knox is not even close to being an RFA and has a pretty high ceiling

and Barret and Zion- ESPECIALLY Zion, keep seeing their stock elevate if you ask me.

if the Pelicans traded him to the Knicks for that pick- think of how there rebuild would be super charged---

they have their own top 10 pick, Knox, and Barret or Zion......

and still have Holliday- who is playing really great ball- to deal if the want to- or hold on to.

I don't want Boogie to be my best player or to be my locker room leader.

But on that roster? With LeBron and with Rondo who he seemed to love playing with, yeah. I think it works really well. Boogie has a mean streak for sure, but I for one have been impressed with his conduct with the Warriors. He isn't trying to do too much and by all accounts they seem to love having him him there.

Yeah, good point about Boogie, especially paired with Lebron and Rondo.

I tend to agree with @Mecca though. I think I'd rather have Vucevic. What worries me about Boogie is that he's playing for the big contract that he was expecting before his foot fell off.

We've seen guys be on their best behavior and play at their best when playing for a contract and then go back to the usual when they get it.

That would be my concern with Boogie, at least as far as his attitude.

Forget all that. we get the #1 pick and get Zion. AD decides he loves pierogies and we trade Love, TT and Sexton for AD and a bad contract.

lol

that would be nice....

esp. when LeBron went to Magic with some BS excuse about needing to be traded back home to Cleveland right away. lol

Watching Zion lately.....unreal.

Its only a 14% shot the Cavs have at him- at best- but we can dream.

Guy is definitely one of the top 10 players to come out of the draft since the 2003 draft if you ask me.

Whoever gets him is gonna be very very happy.

A Woj bomb is a breaking report released by Adrian Wojnarowski, a NBA insider. The report often comes out of nowhere and includes news about a player or the league that carries a significant impact, which is why it is referred to as a bomb.

Did you think it possible that I wasn't aware of that?

Why I always say the Wizards are the worst run team over the last 30 years. Their goal is build a roster that reaches the playoffs, not one that can win once there. And they have been surprisingly inept at getting there too.

I don't think Rondo will stay.

He seemed genuinely taken aback by the trade reports.

Could change.

They could buy his forgiveness.

He's been great for them.

So, I hope he ghosts...lol

if they trade Ball itll be interesting to see what they do at the PG position in the offseason.

I tend to agree with you- that Rondo does not seem thrilled with how the season has gone and how LeBron has acted- and its not like those 2 were teh greatest of buddies in the first place.

I think they are fine on a personal level.

They just went on that recruiting trip for Zion together, despite what they are calling it.

But, Magic reduced him to canonfodder in the Davis trade.

He said it himself, how do you just go on like it didn't happen?

yah- but i think that Davis basically faking this injury is good for them- it makes Davis and Paul look like dbags, and it gives the Pelicans an excuse not to play him because he is "injured".

Its good from a public relations stand point, and a team standpoint for the Pelicans if you ask me that Davis was a huge bitch, faked an injury and left the arena right in the middle of a game.

Apparently, they told Demps who failed to relay it to the Coach or ownership.

He deserved to be fired.for that Solomon Hill signing alone...lol

But, Klutch is starting to look very shady.

It was bad enough to leave during the game.

But, he can play in the All star?

the funny shit will happen to Rich Paul once LeBron retires.

He has a pretty big hammer right now- and he has definitely waived it and exerted influence etc...

but what happens when LeBron is retired? All of this bad-will that Paul ahs garnered for himself is gonna bite him in the ass.
