Seen any good Horror lately?
meh, the last two I can recall watching were Primal Rage: The Legend of Oh-Mah, think it was either written or directed by a cat that did a lot of work on more premiere movies in the costume realm. Wasn't horrible, wasn't good, That said, you could give it a watch.

Return of the Living Dead III, actually a lot better than I was expecting. Bad sets to start with (and they do go back there), but from a story standpoint wasn't too bad overall.

(you can copy and paste this into the horror thread if you'd like, i'm a bit in my cup tonight and have been focused on trying to watch all of the oscar nominated pics.

Yeah, I love Gilbert.

It's really family oriented out there.

Goodyear was a compromise for me. It's a bit more rural than I would have liked.

Gilbert has a ton of things to do.

You're in Goodyear? Someday I wanna go there & see the Indians @ spring training.

Have you watched Giannis this year?
Yes, I actually have. But I don't think that him having one great year should catapult him to the top of this list in particular. If that were the case shouldn't you have him @ #1? He's having a better season than LBJ too.

Furthermore, we're talking putting him ahead of a guy who has consistently been great for about a decade. If we were talking about the MVP race then you'd have a point when pointing out just this season as a supporting factor.

Not sure why last years record would count against Luke considering the roster they had.

As for this year, they were ahead of schedule until all of the injuries hit.

It'll be interesting to see what happens after the all star break. Right now, I think guys are kind of worn out mentally from all of the speculation around trying to trade for AD and physically from guys having to play larger roles because of the injuries.

Maybe they get a few days off, recharge and come back playing better?

They're going to have to if they're going to make the playoffs.
I mentioned last year's record because both coaches were somewhat in the same situation coaching a team without the luxury of a star player to help carry some of the load. And I never said it should count against him, but rather suggested the opposite by saying the jury is still out on him.

Luke had a lot of rookies and Stevens was left with uncertainty after losing two of his best players. Stevens was able to rise to the challenge & surprise many with his team making the ECF.

As for this year the expectation immediately changed for LA when they got LBJ - yet they have under performed. Some of it is due to injuries, but a lot of their losses have come from zero effort on the defensive side of the court. IMO that is on the coach to keep his team engaged.

Maybe they do recharge during the AS break. But now they have put themselves in a position where they have to rely on other teams falling out of contention along with playing superb basketball.

AD calling out his team-mates? Just shut up, bro.

Way too much being made of that.

His quote:

"We sucked. Nobody was interested in playing is what it looked like. Obviously I missed a lot of shots, a lot of easy shots- layups and stuff that I normally make- early in the game. But they came out more desperate. They played like they were playing for something, and they showed it."

Notice his sentence started with "we" and he talked a lot about himself sucking.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that quote after a massive blowout loss. But people want to pick out the 2nd sentence and overanalyze it because of the current AD narrative.

The Cyber-finger prints are very similar...lol

As @thunderc pointed out, my posting style is very distinct.

I couldn't alt/dupe if I tried.

That’s right, no aliases for Mecca, we will all know!!!

disagree, he already showed out he's not a part of any "we"

It isn't about the damn GM. How many times do we have to say it?

LeBron wanted Gilbert to do things LeBron's way. Gilbert did that for 2+ years. When he stopped letting LeBron call the shots, LeBron left. It is that simple.

Now stop repeating yourself about The GM. It was never about the move itself. It was all about the symbolism behind the move and everything that followed.
so no other moves or nonmoves? Yeah....that's what I thought.

But seinfeld would be proud.....that was a long rant about nothing you gave.
