He can't plead ignorance as this is the 3rd time he has been accused of this.

He can't seem to avoid keeping these names out of his mouth.

It is possible that Magic was being completely innocent here but it is also possible that he was trying to push the Sixers to allow Ben to talk with him.

It makes absolutely no sense for him to say something like this though.
It makes zero sense.

I like him.

So, I keep trying to make rationalizations for his behavior.

Was he trying to divert attention away from the Davis debacle?

Was he so desperate to avoid the topic of his team meeting that he threw out this nonsense as a distraction?

It has to be completely innocent. The Lakers have no path to Simmons until he's a free agent, unless he forces his way out. That seems far from possible at the moment. I think Magic was flattered by the idea of somebody wanting to pick his brain about playing PG at that size. Maybe Lebron should inquire with Magic to keep him out of trouble, lol....

Don't forget how you flimflammed the Suns who you agreed to trade the pick to.

Once you saw Curry was still on the board y'all told the Suns...

Um, no.....lol

In 2009 with as shit of an organization as we had at the time I would have been SUPER happy to land Amare. Just making the playoffs was the dream. It was hard to fathom anything further than that.

I think it was innocent.

But, the timing was odd.

If this happened a month ago, why would he bring it up?

Was he nervous?

It's really weird to me.

I think he just really wanted to change the subject and came up with one of the worst ways possible.

And now he's stated he'd like the Bay to be his forever home lol
Same happened with Garnett and the Celtics.

That's why they are so confident about Davis.

I think while it sucks for fans, the Pelicans SHOULD have every right to bench AD. They may still have to pay him, but playing time shouldn't be guaranteed regardless of who you are.

.....and, if this is true, it's not hard to understand why NOLA passed on the Kiddie Corps.

Strong arm tactics, Big Bullshit Brand nonsense aside....

Nothing like wanting a player who wants you back.

IF this is true.

I just don't get how he could possibly think this is good thing to say.

So I just got NBA 2K19...yeah I know a little late.

I got to the 2019 Cavs offseason and somehow the Mavs got the #1 overall pick...even though they had like a 5% chance but they passed on Zion and took Ja Morant @Mecca

I grabbed Zion for the Cavs with the #2 pick. Life is good in Cleveland. Can't wait to see him on the actual Cavs roster next season :suds:
