Church gone. Start checking those safety prospects and FAs. Need at least a marginal type guy just in case nothing else materializes. Remember Carr played a couple of weeks at safety a few years back. Who knows. Really wanted Church back,but see the thinking on letting him go with that offer. Still has flaws and you can always find an early down SS for much less and if you team him with a young kid with cover skills maybe we come out ahead. Or maybe we get a guy that can stop the run and cover better for less.

Only thing I can think of that you missed is most of us realize DJax is out because of the lack of cap space.

Money is the reason I didn't mention the guy from Bal. Our defense would benefit greatly with him next to Collins.

From the get go I was saying we needed to resign or replace 9 of our FA's, as IMO they play key rolls last season. This year finding diamonds in the rough is a MUST.

As good as the Boys offense was, the defense was not near as good last year and it is scary that it could be worse.

Agree 100%. The good news is while our FAs played decent none are top tier, the bad news is the amount we could lose. We may HAVE to get 4 NFL defensive starters in this draft, not an easy task.
