NFL Draft Selections

Round 1: Ereck Flowers, OT - Miami (6'5" 324)

Solid pass protector and devestating run blocker that is tough as nails, with the size and mobility to play either end of the offensive line.

Round 2: Justin Hardy, WR - East Carolina (6'0" 188)

An extremely quick receiver that runs great routes, creating immediate separtion, and has the hands to catch the ball anywhere on the field.

Round 3: Doran Grant, CB - Ohio State (5'11" 193)

A quick, reliable cover corner that can come up and support the run.

Round 3: Henry Anderson, DE - Stanford (6'6" 295)

A force against the run and can get after the QB from the 3-4 end position.

Round 4: John Miller, OG - Louisville (6'2" 320)

A rock at offensive guard that doesn't get beat and doesn't get pushed backward, plus he can create movement in the run game.

Round 5: Jake Ryan, ILB - Michigan (6'3" 235)

A terrific linebacker that can play downhill better than any prospect in this draft, but has the speed and ability to cover in space from sideline-to-

sideline.

Round 5: Kenny Bell, WR - Nebraska (6'1" 185)

An electric receiver that can take defensive backs deep and win, plus an outstanding run blocker.

Round 5: Nick Boyle, TE - Delaware (6'5" 270)

An overall accomplished tight end in the similar mould of Fasano, a very good blocker and solid receiver.

Round 6: Clayton Geahters, S - Central Florida (6'2" 208)

A very adept run defender that is also solid in pass coverage, a true student of the game, and outstanding leader on the field in the mould of a Dawan

Landry.

Round 7: Justin Coleman, CB - Tennessee (5'10" 190)

A terrific slot cornerback in that he flips his hips extremely well and can keep pace with shifty receivers, but also supports the run extremely well.

Round 7: Brock Hekking, OLB - Nevada (6'4" 255)

A solid edge defender and team leader who happened to have a slightly down year, but gives you 100% every play.

Ron Parker's absurd demands are landing his butt somehwhere else. Put me on the Rowe bandwagon to replace him. Another Utah player can't hurt.

On my phone right now so I am not going to make a full post until I get home, but I vigorously disagree with the QB rankings past 2. I don't think that pertains to this team so much this year, however.

A lot of these guys I'll want to see at the combine, however. If Dorsett truly does run a sub 4.25 for example, that's going to be really hard for this team to pass up, IMO. That kind of burst would be a welcome upgrade. The WR's in this offense, as currently designed, need to be burners within 10 yards and downfield, theoretically; and Dorsett fits that bill.

Another guy I'd really want to watch is Coates, if he shows that 10 yard burst along with breakaway speed, would really be an excellent grab for us.
