At least with Ubaldo and Miley going this series, Boston won't get a chance to pummel them this upcoming weekend.

I know this is old news but I still wonder how much different this lineup would be if we didn't overpay Davis last year and signed Cespedes instead, as was rumored. The outfield would be much more stable I believe and could've used some of that extra money we would've saved to try to sign Tillman back (I already figure trying with Machado would be useless since he likely will be as good as gone after next season since Peter won't pay whatever Manny will want). I'm guessing it'd look something close to this:

1. Jones CF
2. Kim DH
3. Machado 3B
4. Trumbo 1B
5. Cespedes RF
6. Mancini LF
7. Castillo C
8. Schoop 2B
9. Hardy SS

well tilly money is waldo contract and still have more from the waste on galdo . I like tilly but what is he really worth ? gausman and bundy and then a dumpster dan has to fined one from the trash pile .
