I can understand why people don't like Kim in the OF. But as a pinch hitter only? That is absurd. The guy that can work the count and can get on base like Kim needs to be more than a pinch hitter. I still don't understand your obsession with hating the guy ever since we signed him.
As for Smith, he's been good so far but remember, Rickard was the same way last year. He started off hot and then cooled off after April when teams started figuring him out.

Sucks that this was the worst offseason in a long time for starting pitching needs. Would've really liked to have gotten a quality starter or two and moved him to a middle reliever or a long reliever role to possibly up his value enough to trade him by the deadline.

boom boom has hit at every level he has ever played . mullins is a switch hitting 20 ish guy who is killing aa plus a speedster with pop did I also say a cf .

This would be idiotic. Eating a contract for a guy that had an OPS+ of 114 last year would be stupid since I'm sure there would be teams that'd love to get the guy like that in a trade.
