My biggest issue , outside of the racist undertones, is he went out of his way to be offensive.

Why even make a video?

If you wanna do podcasts, why criticize him for his appearance?

Shit, if we want to be critical of guys looks, Milos Teodosic and Caleb Swanigan of the Blazers look like homeless people.

Faried looks like a long-lost Williams sister

Signing Hill, ZBo, and VC wasn't about trying to sneak into the bottom half of the playoffs(even though that would be an awesome surprise), it was to help mentor the young guys so they can be even better in a year or 2 when the Kings really want to make the playoffs. Signing Hill also takes pressure off Fox so he doesn't have to score 15-20 points per night to justify his top 5 selection. It might suck at times when certain young players struggle to get minutes but it happens.

That's kinda my point though; the vets starting will mitigate the young players' mistakes, limited those mistakes from hurting the W/L record.

Winning in the mid 30s isn't getting anyone into the playoffs in the West.

Definitely slim pickings. Maybe Udrih or Canaan doesn't make the final cuts for the Pistons or Warrirors. Cavs may trim a PG as wellm (although been-there, done-that with Calderon).
Is Barbosa still out there?

Chalmers doesn't have a guaranteed deal either.

I honestly don't understand why they signed George Hill.

Just go with the youth movement like the Lakers and Philly.

Hill and ZBo aren't enough to leapfrog the Clippers, Nola, Denver, JAZZ who will all be fighting for the 6-8 seeds.

Heck, I think Dallas will be better than the Kings.

I guess they didn't think Fox was ready.
De'Aaron Fox should be the one starting. I mean I'm a Kentucky fan, yeah, but he's one of the best PGs to come out of the draft.

I was looking forward to him starting.

Now I gotta go with Dennis Smith Jr. as my ROY pick.

I think Simmons and Fultz will take votes away from eachother.

So, I will go DSJ, Ball and Monk as my dark horse with the extra minutes he should get with Batum out.

How much are those kids going to play though? Looks like most of them are being pushed to the bench by vets (Hill, Randolph, and Koufos & Bogdanovic if you want to call them vets). Looks like Fox, Jackson, WCS, Giles, Skal are all rotation players for now, with only Hield starting (and VC will get a lot of minutes behind him).
Bogdanovic is definitely not a vet, he has experience in other leagues but is an NBA rookie and only 25. Giles isn't gonna play much this year, they're being slow with him. The rest of those guys should still play around 20+ minutes whether as a starter or bench player, yeah they could have played 30+ but it's not like they'll fall out of the rotation.

I'd be shocked if they cracked 30 wins, the West is too tough. Hill, Zbo, and VC shouldn't boost the win total that much and there will still be a lot of mistakes/struggles by the young guys even with vets there. If one of the younger players has a big season and it leads to a few more wins, so be it.

Dear God, he makes Nash look like Wilt....lol

It's pretty horrific.

But, DJ and Beverly can mitigate the damage reasonably well.

When Blake, DJ, Milos and Beverly were on the court together it was awesome.

That should be the starting lineup along with Gallo...imo

If DJ is happy and motivated, he will cover up up a lot of Milos's defensive shortcomings.

In the NBA you don't learn that much sitting on the bench. Guys got to play and be allowed to play through mistakes in order to fully develop.

Veteran leadership on a young team is important, but not when the veterans take too many minutes from the youth.

I won't call him a bust just yet. He' still pretty young. But if the Heat would have drafted him yes he'd be a big time bust. Tristan > Whiteside. And don't you forget it!

2 season ended injuries and he has not looked good even when he was healthy

Can't really argue w/ that. If you give me a little bit of time I can make something up just to argue about it though. Maybe.

He looked good in *rolls eyes* Summer League.

Kid has buzzard luck.

He nor Mudiay have lived up to the hype.

Hopefully, they are late bloomers like Chauncey Billups.

Do you miss Jammin' Jimmer Fredette in the NBA? I do.
