Hayward’s meeting with the Heat started in the morning at the team’s arena — where signage showing Hayward in a Miami uniform was displayed outside the arena and caught the attention of many fans.

My guess is if they have to choose between Waiters and Johnson then they're sticking with JJ. He was in the meeting even though he is an UFA

Yeah I just don't want to be in a position where we lose out on Hayward on Waiters. Gordon last meeting is on Monday so hopefully we have an answer by then. If Waiters can't wait til then, we'll be in scramble mode and try to acquire players like Gallo or Gay
