Stephen A Smith just made a comment that I actually agree with for once (lord help me!)

This is the biggest week and a half of the year for many teams, yet the Cavs do not have a GM in place. That is unfathomable. One has to wonder, if Griffin's contract had been renewed, the Cavs would have had a better package to offer without giving up Love. (Shumpert, Frye + 1 more smallish contract + 2021 unprotected). CP3 would have certainly been good with joining LeBron.

Love Williams.....hated us trading him last season. He's on a great contract.

He is a good role player. Instant offense. Great bench player for a contender.

He does nothing for the Clippers though.

Clippers took guys on 1 year deals on purpose.

Millsap would be a good fit on the Clippers on a 3-4 year deal.

Clippers did fine.

Why is Cleveland spectating though? Makes no sense and it's all Gilbert's fault.

Millsap would be better than Gallo.....he's hurt a lot. But, Millsap is 32....isn't he?
Yep.

I don't want Iggy for the same reason.

Hopefully, West is running this shitshow, not Doc.

We can't compete with the Spurs, Cavs, Warriors, Rockets...shit not the Wolves, Jazz either.

No point spending recklessly..

A gain: I would sign and trade Blake to the Spurs for Aldridge in a heartbeat , if they wanted him.

Lamarcus is also off the books next Summer.

Dont see the Spurs wanting that though.

@Mecca My condolences, but stick with Jerry West. He's a long term thinker, and while this one would be a tough one to pull off, he has a plan

Shelbourne is saying that the Rockets may have another big move in mind, but what? I can't imagine them being able to find a package acceptable to Indiana for George. There may be another move on the horizon, but I certainly don't see it unless they straight fleece somebody.

West is no idiot.
Yeah.....Im......relieved it's over.

Paul is a great player and he made us legit.

But, giving him 200m would have been brutal.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted him to stay.

But, on a 3 year deal, which would have never happened.

He does nothing for the Clippers though.

He's valuable trade bait in acquiring more assets, especially as the deadline approaches and/or injuries get factored into what potential playoff teams want to do. The real question is whether or not they trade DAJ in an effort to tank and pick up more assets. Starting over with a top-5 pick in next years draft and loads of cap money isn't a terrible idea.

Not really. Only time he's been underpaid was right after Lebron left for one year where he was making $14 mil. He's made over $200 million in career earnings from his salary alone.

BS. Wade is a max contract player, but rarely was paid like one.

When was he underpaid? Outside of the one year that I mentioned.

I'm assuming you remember all of the games that he missed while Lebron was in Miami.

You're right. Sorry big homie. I was thinking the years when JO was making 20+ but I think Miami gave wade the most they could have during those years.

Well he, lebron, & Bosh all signed the same contract. I'm not sure if their teams could have gave them more. They all signed the 5 yr/80 mil. Considering they were coming off their rookie contract, it may have been the most the teams could offer them. They obviously had a bigger plan in place.
