2017 Ford Ranger and Bronco

Man, I've been wanting a new Ranger to be released for SO LONG. 2016 was supposed to be the year, but never saw it for sale. Now I'm seeing it will be out for 2017, and the pictures make me sad.

I guess the designers said "Hey, everyone thinks the Ridgeline looks like shit, let's copy it"

Base model to start around $20k MSRP

At least they hit it OUT OF THE FREAKING PARK with the Bronco

They even got the rear rocker panels correct for offroading. Base to begin around $29k. I'm thinking the demand will be so high that you won't find a 2017 model on the lot for less than $35k for a stripped down model. I want one. Want one really bad.

The Ranger pics are the global models, but nobody knows what the next generation Ranger will look like, assuming the NG is the one that will be built in Michigan. The Bronco pics are nothing but renderings and speculations from online fans or speculations.

Nobody outside of Ford has any idea what the new Ranger/Bronco will look like. From what I've read, the Ranger will debut first (2018) followed by the Bronco in 2019/20.

Yeah...but that Ranger was specifically designed with everyone else in mind and not USA/Canada. The one that will be built in Michigan will probably be a new generation, thus a new design given that the current generation designed and built in Australia debuted I believe in 2011.

I have heard this before as well. Like when they brought the Mazda5 van from overseas first as Mazda then rolled it to the Ford badge. Ranger is still sold elsewhere, just not here.

I went to the fair hoping to see either of them and the sales guy said that Ford still hasn't green-lighted either. Bitches.

Most sales guys don't know jack when it comes to the inner plans of a car company. A UAW chairman basically admitted what was long known as a fairly legit rumour.

I don't like either. The Chevy Colorado looks solid. I would consider an F150 before a Ranger.

I am on my second Tacoma but have liked the looks of Chevy and Ford pick ups lately.

I was in the Philippines this summer and saw a ton of those Rangers. It was interesting seeing all of the car models that they have that are different than what we have here. The Ranger and the Toyota Hilux were the two trucks I saw most frequently over there.

Ford didn't make up that first pic of the Bronco. It was done by a site owner. So who really knows what it will look like.

Oh guaranteed there will be little difference....mostly complying with different safety standards throughout the world. Cosmetically should be nearly identical.
