Got mine reserved for 2021. Wasn't one of the lucky 3500 though, website kept cycling. Finally got my reservation for a Black Diamond.

This Bronco looks to be a grand slam.....Ford fucking nailed it. Jeep basically admitted they're running scared with their Hemi plans for the Wrangler.

I don't hate it. I am actually surprised it took a US manufacturer so long to attempt to compete in a segment Jeep had basically all to themselves. Sounds like Ford is trying to offer plenty of customization options until the aftermarket picks up the slack.

My wife wanted a Jeep, but I will probably look at one of these when the time comes. She just wants something with removable top that we can take on the beach.

I'm impressed, if I had any need for off roader, would be high on list. Heck, I like it just for convertable factor

You really think Jeep is running scared? The Jeeps have dominated the off road market for years and you don't need a Hemi to go 4 wheelin, you need decent torque and the right gearing couple with a sturdy and dependable driveline.

How sturdy and reliable are Jeeps now?

A lot of that mystique was the 4.0 and AW4 auto holdovers from AMC. These new ones are nowhere near as good. In fact the 4.0 became much more prone to problems with the Daimler electronics.

I owned an XJ randomly stalled all the time, no trouble codes would set.

I'd rather have a Ford then a Fiat

The newer Jeeps certainly have a reputation as maintenance hogs, but the avid 4 wheeling gang doesn't seem to care. Besides, no one is buying a Ford POS because of reliability.

Pentstar engine has more severe problems than Ecoboost

I used to work with a shop full of mechanics, not one owned a Chrysler product unless it was a Cummins in a pick up.

Jeeps...quite frankly everything from Fiat including RAM, are notoriously poor quality. Every company will have issues here and there, but Fiat is laughably bad.

I will give 3 years until the youngest is on his last year of college, they should have all the bugs worked out by then.

Even my Daimler Jeep with the bulletproof 4.0 and AW4 trans was problematic.

I kept a spare crankshaft position sensor and a ratchet set in my trunk along with Triple A and 100 miles of towing.

Jeep owners will act like this is normal LOL

Chevy fan boys are salty the Blazer came back as a station wagon

Jeep fan boys "hurr durr it has IFS" as if that matters to 99 percent of Jeep owners.

They took everything that sucks about the Jeep Wrangler and fixed it.
