I like not having a 5th set tiebreaker.

I don't want a 5th set decided by 1 point. A full game is better.

Not when you have 2 clowns who can't break serve

FED has gotten outplayed the entire 3rd set, is down 4 - 1.

I'm going to watch until he wins. I wouldn't be surprised if he loses when up 2-0, just because nothing is certain at this point in his career.

FED wins in a 3rd set tiebreaker.

He says, about facing a young player, "If you don't know anything about them, then it's dangerous because they know a lot about you. If you know a lot about them, then it's dangerous because they will know all of your weaknesses."

FED also said that Berdych has "beaten him in New York, at Wimbledon, at the Olympics. He might have beaten me here too, and if not, he wants to beat me here."

good for zverev over isner

isner has overperformed in his career, imo, since he can't move, can't return, and can't hit backhands. not a bad career for having nothing but a serve and forehand.

At least sock and querrey made it to the 3rd round. That Isner result was disappointing especially since he was up 2 sets to 0

I get what you're saying about Isner but losing to Zverev after being up 2 sets to 0 is disappointing. This is a guy who is ranked #50 with a career record of 81-124.

Just saw that Kyrgios was defeated in 5 by Seppi LMFAO. Could not happen to a better guy. Half of the crowd booed him as he left the court.

I'm not disappointed because I don't expect much from a 31 year old tree with a serve and forehand.

He's only made the 4th round of a major 4 times in almost 10 years.

I don't think any tennis fan would call this anything but a very minor upset.

He's done more with his career than anybody thought possible when he finished college and gave it a try.

The same was true of Blake for me. Absolutely maximized his potential with limited ++ weapons.

Querrey & Sock did their job. Both made it to the 3rd round. Anything else would be icing on the cake.

I didn't think his forehand was anything noticeable.

Still, I like rooting for him because he enjoys tennis; tries to get better; tries different coaches; is thoughtful about his game.

Wow, I didn't realize even Australians booed Krygios.

Pretty clearly a top 30 forehand, so I'd say that's noticeable. The serve alone wasn't enough for him to be a top 20 player for the past 7 consecutive years.

His backhand volley is fucking hideous.

Novak drops the 1st set to Istomin in just under 1:30. Extremely long first set. Raonic is already in the 3rd set of his match

Not going to stay up for this but I'm kinda expecting Novak to roll and win the next 3 sets pretty comfortably
