The Tigers tried to extend their window 1 year too long and it backfired. If they would have moved Kinsler, Verlander, Upton, JD, Miggy during the offseason- they would have been able to get off more of their $ and get better prospects

now you are in for a long, hard, painful rebuild with a minor league system that is mostly bereft of high level talent, and a huge millstone of a contract in Miggy choking up a significant part of the teams payroll.



When i look at the Tigers- right NOW- I see 1 player who is a solid-above average talent going forward--- and he just had elbow surgery on his pitching arm.

I think the Indians should be the favorites to win it all---- but that certainly does not mean they are more likely than not to win it.

Say they are a 2/3rds favorite in each series to win it--- which is a nice advantage

2/3 x 2/3 x 2/3 = is only roughly about a 30% shot of winning it all---- which is prob. about right--- id say maybe a little bit higher....but not much.....40% would be a really high number.
