Impressive!!! Did the Tigers trade Sanchez to the Padres while I wasn't looking? The Minnesota Twins have been impressive all year ... I don't know what my exact prediction for them was, but I know it was last place and around 100 games lost. Congratulations, I hope you march into the playoffs!!!

If you thought your prediction was bad, I was saying before the season that if the youngsters didn't take a big step forward this season (which they have, admittedly) that we could flirt with losing 110+. I figured even if they did, they'd probably lose about 100. I didn't expect most of the rest of the division to fall off like they have either though.

There is a fair amount of speculation as to who would start the WC game for us against the Yankees (who we have a terrible postseason record against, but that was under Gardy). Santana or Berrios are the presumed front runners, but they may end up starting that final weekend against the Tigers depending on how late the WC spot is up for grabs. I wouldn't be shocked if it ends up being Colon or a much improved looking Gibson who gets the start.

Doug always backs teams (and people) who lack talent.
How is old Miggy doing this year?

Het gutless doug....you never even bothered to answer my questions about off season moves by the Tigers. No balls, no brains, or both.

BTW....Cleveland currently is leading WS bet!

Serious baseball question for doug.

You claimed you ''crunched all the numbers'' before the season began. Your conclusion was things looked good for the Tigers and Cleveland (because they lost Game 7) would falter. HOW do you explain this MAJOR failure in your prediction?
