Miggy Cabrera pulled himself out of the Tiger's lineup before today's game. Seems he was threatened by the White Sox bullpen catcher and his feelings were hurt.

Cabrera has not homered since July 28th, and in that span of 23 games he has totaled 6 RBI while batting at a .215 avg.

Thanks for doing us a favor. With so many teams still in the race it's hard to root for somebody to win when you want both teams to lose.

Detroit's having a tough season, but I think we can come together across team squabbles and pull for V-Mart to get his heart issues dealt with so they don't flare up again.

I always liked V-Mart. I was pretty pissed when the Dolans traded him. He basically begged to stay with the team and they still traded him. I hope he gets better soon.

Harbaugh hasn't won sh!t, since coaching in the Pioneer League 11 years ago. Voted most over-hyped head coach this season. One more year of playing second fiddle to OSU (and maybe PSU and Wisconsin), the press will start calling him Jim "FLOPPY" Harbaugh.

Defiantly a few shaky starts, but seriously, you can't expect every start over the course of a month to be dominant. To carry those rates for nearly an entire month is ridiculously good.

Coupled with the bullpen, they've easily had the best staff in the majors in August, and I think a reasonable case could be made that they've had the best staff in baseball thus far.
