Season 4 of the Big 3 down here turned into this, all season, to a lessor degree.
Its human nature.
We were fine in the playoffs.
Spurs were just crazy good.

2 differences though.

1) They play in the West

2) Their best player is hurt

Going to be interesting to see how Toronto approaches the game tomorrow. They're 2-2 vs Washington. Wall did not play in any of those games from what I heard.

Depending on who they play IMO. If I'm a Warriors fan, I'm hoping for the Spurs or Nuggets.

Any other team IMO will push them 6 games at least with the current form the Warriors are in

Don't think so. Everything I read basically showed that once Utah won tonight, there was no possible way for OKC or Utah to finish 7th

I believe there is a chance but it would involve the Thunder losing at home to Memphis tomorrow night. Not very likely considering the Thunder have a shot at the 4 with a win.

actually its exactly what he signed up for.

I am sure the Cavs would have preferred he sit out at LEAST a half dozen or more games---- but he wanted to make a point- and now FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER- will play all 82.

For some reason I dont see the people that criticized him for sitting out games giving him a ton of credit for going all 82 this year. Surprise Surprise.

I highly doubt he planned on needing to play 3000 minutes to secure a 4 seed.
Obviously he’s lobbying for MVP, which he wont be, plus I think he’s honoring his word to Silver who worked a more favorable schedule for the players.

As far as criticized, it was never for sitting, it was for how he acted during the games when he sat.

So, you think hes a Cav next year?

Im saying the results of these last few weeks can be dismissed because of boredom.
We’ll see a much different attitude this weekend.

They traded away 3 of their top 4 scorers a year ago.

No Hayward from the 30 second mark of the Season, No Kyrie for damn near half.

So, Several Rookies and 2nd year players are doing the heavy lifting and your best current player is either a 20 year old Rookie or a 30 year old fringe Allstar Center.

Yet, they are still 2nd in the East.

Yeah, what the hell was I thinking...

Kyrie for 60 games, Horford is still a good player, multiple high lottery picks in Brown, Smart, and Tatum. They planned to expand Rozier’s role, added Morris and Baynes. He’s done a good job but they’re not talentless.

But my biggest beef is that the accomplishments are built up from a hot start and they haven’t played well in the 2nd half. When they beat the 76ers back in January, they moved to 34-10. They’ve gone 20-17 since then. That’s a big red flag for me if I’m voting for coach of the year.
