Yes and no. Sloan was definitely "old school" and was going to need to either retire or make some changes to his coaching style. Back in the day, coaches coached and players played. There wasn't a whole lot of collaboration.

On the other hand, when things like this happen, it's almost never a one sided thing. This was likely something that had been simmering for quite some time and just happened to come to a head that night.

If we were ever to get the entire story, it's likely that both were at fault and could have handled things better.

I'll keep that in mind. A buddy of mine (who happens to be named Jeff) will likely be going to the collective with me on 4/20. I told him about the place, so he wants to go as well. Says it has to have been named after him.

Considering he weighs nearly 500 lbs., he may be right and I'm pretty sure we'll be going. lol

While it shouldn't necessarily be the case, the game is officiated differently in the playoffs. Teams are typically allowed to be more physical.

If the Rockets are going to continue to be frustrated so easily and worry so much about the refs, they are likely looking at the same results they've been getting in the playoffs.
