Warriors stumble to the playoffs. Might not even get past the first round. It is what it is.

San Antonio keeps up their HOME/ROAD consistency.

Although, if they make the playoffs, I think they can beat Portland without homecourt.
The #6 seed versus #3 Portland might be the least painful scenario of a bunch of bad options.

That is the one team that the SPURS really match up well with.....probably will still lose because of their road struggles, but it is the best case for them.

They Still need to beat the KINGS at home to clinch. Would rather avoid playing the Pelicans to clinch.
If the Spurs can't beat the Kings at home in a nearly must win game, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. Just don't let the game be close in the final minutes and they should be fine.

That Minnesota/Denver game is looking like a virtual playoff game

OKC, SA should be near locks, unless they totally choke versus the Grizzlies and Kings at home with full rest.
Utah and NoLa have slightly harder wins to clinch, but they should be okay.

The NBA might get lucky and have a one-game playoff primetime game.

They don't have play-in games, they go to head to head records then conference records, etc.

I said Virtual Playoff game
It wont be a tiebreaker needed scenario.
It will be a de facto elimination game.

They will likely be tied at 46-35 heading into the final game, with whomever wins clinches a playoff seed and the loser sits at home.

Sad thing is the NBA is not smart enough to show that game on national tv. Too worried about showing a game between 2 teams already in the playoffs lol

If the Kings can find a way to lose in SA and at home against the Rockets they'll finish with the 6th worst record. I'm not worried about them beating the Spurs who need the win but the Rockets might be resting everyone. If they win one then they'll probably tie with the Bulls or Nets for 6th/7th.

Given that Houston has literally nothing to play for, I would not get too worked up about the Rockets games right now.

@tlance

This is another example of why the players association doesn't want guys taking a haircut for a ring.

But, it will likely still happen.

Casspi is one of those players that's good in theory yet I've never actually seen him be good.

Funny.

I was actually thinking exactly the opposite. Not that DWill isn't a ****, but that Jerry Sloan was stuck in the stone ages.

Sorry, but if you as a coach are going to get that bent out of shape because your PG ran your play to the other side of the court from what you wanted, then you probably shouldn't have a job working with human people. He didn't pull a LeBron and completely change the play, he ran it to the other side. No need for that moment to lead to somebody's resignation.

I disagree. I think Sloan and Williams were just tired of each other and that any little thing that Williams did would piss Sloan off; at least this is what I grasped from the article. Williams if I recall also had issues with Avery Johnson as well when he was the coach for the Nets.
