Popovich honestly had no idea when Kawahi was coming back. He was simply stating facts.

The relationship is fine. And it is because they allowed Kawahi to have his own timetable.

SA saw what happened when Indiana all but forced Paul George back quickly. The relationship soured badly.
So, they smartly left it entirely up to Kawahi. He seems satisfied now that he can play without being forced.

If the Pelicans get a top 4 seed and the Rockets finish 2nd, and AD comes anywhere close to keeping his current pace, I would vote AD for MVP. Lot of ifs there, but AD has been absolutely ridiculous and Harden has CP3.
