He never said anything about being out for the season. That was Pop so I'm not sure how he changed his mind. Seems like Pop made an assumption and thought he wouldn't return.

I honestly don't think he did either.

KD is right, Zaza is one clumsy mofo. He is always off balance, all it takes is a small outside force to send him sprawling.

I don't remember anybody suggesting it was intentional last year when he took out KD. Dude is highly dangerous because he is big and not in control of his body. That does not mean he is intentionally trying to injure people though.

Not in the two incidents I described. But, I have watched every GS game and there have been times when he's pushed or intentionally fouled hard without it being called. And not just your regular pushing (like LBJ does) but he does extra after the fact at times.

Maybe the Spurs doctors don't have Kawhi's best interest in mind? After all a team doctors true obligation is to the franchise & not the player. But he's my current favorite NBAer so I'd like to see him back on the court if he's 100%.

Pop never declared him out for the season. Just said he would be "surprised" if he returns. Those are 2 different things.

"Kawhi ... I'll be surprised if he returns this season," Popovich said. "We only have X number of games left in the season, and he's still not ready to go. If by some chance he is, it's going to be pretty late into the season, and it's gonna be a tough decision, you know, how late you bring somebody back. That's why I'm trying to be honest and logical.
