I have Suns vs. Clippers tickets for the 23rd for $8.

Same seats for the the Mercury vs. Sparks were $27.00....lol
I LOVE when I find bargains like that. I'm frugal. :D

I heard there were parking lots near Staples Center asking $40-50 to park your car there for a few hours.

:L
Oh good gawd. I don't park at Oracle when I go - I take BART & just walk across the skyway.

Did they actually ask him to?

Wow....the writing is on the wall in permanent marker.

they weren't really considering trading him, were they?

I'll just repeat what I said in the Lakers forum because I know that place is icky for all you non Lakers fan. We don't want your cooties anyway.

This is just a fancy way of saying their plan isn't going to work and they are trying to save face. Shelburne is basically the PR wing for the Lakers. Her sources have always been in Jeanie Buss' side of things and she acts as that PR firm for them by cleaning up any stories to paint things in a positive light. What happened was they went all in on chasing 2018 free agents last summer, a full year before necessary, and now they're top targets are very likely not coming. So now they are leaking this out to say "Well actually...we like what we have and are moving down the road". But this is the exact same thing Jim Buss did for the last 5 years. Keep pathways to cap space available to chase the top free agents, those top free agents pass, the organization says "We'll get them next year!" and the process repeats itself. They are still going to have to clear space for 2019 anyway so its not like the guys rumored to be moving are going to be with the team long term. It's just delaying the move. Instead of moving this week, they could be moved 6 to 8 months from now.

FWIW, I still think they still need to target a free agent this year. Young teams don't win shit. And you're not attractive if you don't win. If you run this team back next year, it won't be improved enough to attract any free agent. You're going to see the same results again. We're not good enough to attract Lebron. Paul George is seems happy in OKC. Cousins is hurt. If I'm them, I'm going all in on DeAndre Jordan. I can be a .500 team that could maybe make the playoffs next year with Ball, some SG, Ingram, Kuzma, and Jordan. Then in 2019, I target Klay Thompson, who might be ready to spread his wings and have a team of his own. Ball, Thompson, Ingram, Kuzma, and Jordan would be a very potent line up and you could conceivably sell guys like Thompson if you go in with that plan. But it doesn't matter if you don't improve your team THIS summer. You can't just keep being all youth or dumping ground for contracts to save space. You have to get better to attract better players.

@tlance

How high are the Wiz on Oubre?

You think they would consider something like this now that we know they are the mystery in the Deandre mix?

If not Oubre, the first rounder along with Gortat, Meeks?

NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

That's a decent return for Jordan.

Re: Lebron; Didn't think he'd get traded but doubt very much he's a Cav next season. This season's been to much of a letdown for him for him to be back next yr.

Lmfao....speak this shit into existence!!!!

The Clippers should be all over this.

The Clippers are telling teams they are fine holding on to DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams through the deadline — though you would be hard-pressed to find too many who believe them. Portland has engaged the Clippers on Jordan. Cleveland and Milwaukee have, too. A team to watch: Washington. There is some buzz that the Wizards could put together a Marcin Gortat/Kelly Oubre-headlined package that the Clippers, who have vowed not to bottom out, could find appealing.

NBA trade deadline: Plenty of teams appear ready to make moves

Wtf are the Lakers doing?

Hire someone to help avoid this shit.

Did Magic not learn anything from the George situation?

What he said seems harmless, if it was just about him leading a team to a title, MVP.

But, just stop talking about other team's players.

Honestly, why is Silver/The NBA fucking with Magic?

I'm not sure how what he said is different from Jason Kidd on every ESPN show talking about the comparison between himself and Lonzo.

So, this is odd.

Oh yeah," Johnson told ESPN when asked if he sees parallel between Antetokounmpo's play and his. "With his ball-handling skills and his passing ability. He plays above the rim; I never could do that. But in his understanding of the game, his basketball IQ, his creativity of shots for his teammates ... that's where we [have the] same thing. Can bring it down, make a pass, make a play.

"I'm just happy he's starting in the All-Star game because he deserves that. And he's going to be like an MVP, a champion. This dude, he's going to put Milwaukee on the map. And I think he's going to bring them a championship one day."

They should take away a future 1st round pick next time.
