Issue with this is I don't think the Spurs make it out of round 1 if those two until May. What is Gay issue?

The bottom half of the NBA West is pretty pathetic.

The Spurs should not really have any issues beating Portland, New Orleans, or whomever.

Those teams are not good enough to beat anyone in a 7-game series without home court.

And the Spurs are still good enough to get enough wins for at least a 4 seed without Gay and Leonard.

This year is not quite the same where you had tons of dangerous veteran 50-win teams in the 6,7,8 spots.

Which is why getting 3rd is HUGE for them. They're going to lose to Minny or OKC if they face them with this current roster and Kawhi or Rudy

Russ shoved fan headline? He pushed a guy back that was in his face and immediately put his hands up wondering how the guy got so close. I was never much of a fan of his but he was well within his right to get this guy out of his face.

He's alright. I don't agree with a lot of what he says, but he does have some decent insights and brings up interesting points.

He's no Skippy Brainless.

True, but I can tolerate Skip for a short while. Not so much with Cowherd

The only way I can tolerate Cowherd, Skippy or even Steven A. Smith is w/ the mute button on.

Lookout for the Heat in any guard/forwards that is bought out in the next month.

They have 5.5 mil to burn thanks to the Waiters injury

The real underrated part here about Lavar trying to get guys to commit to his league is that they don't have the general resources that these major campuses do in preparing these collegiate athletes for the next step.

Go to any major university and they have a training facility, medical staff, coaching staff, film study rooms, access to court time, etc, etc.

Just silly to think that Lavar's league has any shot of happening. Even the best college players will make more money playing overseas for a year. And with the new G-League payments being upped, that makes them more competitive too.

The Heat aiming for that 4th seed and possibly 3rd seed, could be interesting to see who they pick up.
