I had no idea he got traded until like an hour ago.

I was cool until I saw Avery.

Maybe they brought him in because his deal is up and they wanted the cap space.

I thought I remembered you not being too thrilled with that Blake extension. The Clips could move Bradley if they wanted (for example, they could get likely get Clarkson for him, as the Lakers had offered that to the Pistons, and others will be interested as well).

The first move made by the new Warriors regime was to trade their best player for an oft-injured center, who was still injured at the time. The move was given it's blessing by Jerry West.

This feels a bit similar. Blake is a great talent when healthy, but his massive contract and unknown injury history going forward make him a bit of a risk.

Someone's got Ballmer's ear for a full rebuild. If they can flip DJ and Lou for maybe 2 more first round picks, with Jerry West to have some input on the draft process, a rebuild could be turned around pretty quickly. Plus the Clips will have a ton of cap space if they manage things correctly.

As much as I love Lou, he's essentially entertainment to divert the attention from a rebuild. He's a pretty big negative as a defender to be a key piece to build around, and he should bring another 1st rounder in trade. Hope they have a plan for the cap space that's more realistic than the Lakers'.
