Some of his substitution patterns are a bit suspect.

But, unless his coaching philosophy revolves around missing half your free throws and 2/3 of your 3 pointers and Julius Randle going 1 on 4 instead of kicking the Ball to the open man, I agree.

Agree. As for his substitution patterns. From what I've read and heard, they are part of what this season is about. He's trying different combinations of players seeing who plays well together.

I am hoping that he's getting to where he's seen enough and starts to settle in to a more consistent pattern though.

The Cavs really started going downhill after getting blown out by the Kings, not easy to recover from that.

I just hope Magic give him a chance to succeed with a solid roster.

Don't believe what ESPN is telling you.

I'm also not sure Fizdale is better. He had a much better roster. Conley and Gasol when healthy are top 30 players.

This crap is cracking me up. Windhorst made some speculation on what Lavar said and folks are acting like it came from someone inside the Lakers organization.

The Lakers handled the best way possible by not saying anything. If the Lakers respond, then the media goes running back to Lavar to tell him what the Lakers said. They get a quote from him and run back to the Lakers with it.

That's a game the Lakers can't win.

Lavar opened his idiot mouth in the off-season and said that Lonzo was winning ROY and the Lakers were going to the playoffs.

Now that it's clear that neither are going to happen, imo, he's looking for someone to blame so he doesn't look like an idiot.

How'd that work for them tonight? lol

It went well for a half. Baby steps.

They went from playing like shit for 4 quarters the previous 2 games to only playing like shit for 2 quarters tonight.

LOL, Kyrie is all in on the Flat Earth Society. I believe he says that stuff just to troll. J.J. just eggs that shit on. He has really good podcasts BTW.

JJ's pod is a must listen for any big NBA fan. His interviews with his fellow players give great insight into the behind the scenes day to day lives of being an NBA player

Well ESPN cronies on the radio and TV are all up in arms because Carlisle skewered them for covering it and suggest that Lavar should shut his mouth, then Steve Kerr came out and supported Walton and Popovich finished it up in a really strong support of Walton but very professional. Basically he pointed out that Lavar was just another fan from the peanut gallery who knew absolutely nothing - that is almost a direct quote, so naturally now ESPN is trying to finish the hatchett job they started with Lavar

Not sure why Ewing couldn't get an NBA job but I think he ended up where he was meant to coach.....

Georgetown. He has them playing well and he is the man to restore them to their former glory.

Always liked them since I saw them smash some team by 40 points in the early to mid 1980's.
