Heard an interesting story about Doc today.

Apparently, in 2000 when Doc was coaching the Magic, Tim Duncan was a free agent and seriously considering leaving the Spurs and signing with the Magic. When they had the meeting, Duncan asked Doc if they would allow family to fly with the team for certain games...Doc said no.

I remember TD thinking about going to Orlando.....

That's interesting. Rivers was stupid for that. Could have changed the Magic's fortunes.

I remember when he was considering the Magic.

Smartest move he made considering the way the rest of Hill's career went.

Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks Walton is in the Hall based more on his college career and the 1st Season in Portland?

I know he won more rings after that. But, as a role player.

So, shouldn't Grant Hill get in too?

Yeah, Walton is definitely in based on what you said. I agree Hill should be too. Although, maybe not right away. As good as Hills college career was, Walton's was ridiculous.

Yeah, I would put Webber in before Grant.

But, Grant in before Rip Hamilton.

I don't think Hamilton should get in.

Ben Wallace .....I want to say yes.

Chauncey had like 3 great years after being a bit of a bust, journeyman.

Is that enough?

Billups and Wallace aren't HOF caliber. Neither is Rip.

All 3 were very good but never elite at their position. They were better together than they would have been on their own leading a team.

I kinda shitted on Chauncey a bit.

He played 17 years and averaged 16-20ppg ten of those.

I say.....no.

But, I wouldn't be outraged if he made it eventually, just not first ballot.

Kidd, Nash, Webber should be in this year.

Ray Allen too.

If one of those 3 Pistons made it.....I'd agree, Billups should get in.
