You see them winning in the next couple seasons or after the Warriors are done winning titles?
I think they need one more piece. They need a wing guy who can shoot. A guy kind of like Klay. He has to be able to move without the ball, catch & shoot.

You realize Fultz is injured and hasn't even played yet right? The line about him being behind Ball is a joke, given how little Ball scored last night.

Talking abt the 4 games Fultz played in.....

Ball does other things to help his team......Fultz not so much, he'd be the bigger bust at this point.....imo.
As @Mecca has already said, I don't think Ball should be starting at this point. Sometimes, you have to ease people into things. Clearly it has been overwhelming for him. Also, the Lakers need to bring in someone to help him with his overall game. Yes he's a pass first PG & there's nothing wrong with that. But, he has to understand that his job is to do a mixture of things.

They could start Clarkson and KCP....

Yes, I think they should. If you've noticed the last two games Clarkson has finished the game for them. Ball was on the bench the entire 4th quarter both times.

The Lakers should probably have been more proactive and firm about getting Lonzo to fix his shooting form from the get-go...

^^^This^^^
They saw that awful form when he was college- which by the way- is where the work to change it should've really started. To your point, yes they should've had him working on that in summer league. Preseason he was hurt & missed the last few games, but that shot DEFINITELY needs work if they ever want him to be a threat on offense.
I know everyone has said that Lonzo Balls shooting is okay but what concerns me is besides the fact that his dad didn't teach him how to shoot correctly, that what worked in high school and college wontbwork in the NBA and fixing the shot can't be fixed until the summer comes and he has three months to work on it

I don't recall everyone saying his shooting is okay. He's shooting .356 from the field, .230 from downtown & an awful .500 from the stripe. Those kinda #'s for a guard aren't bad, they're downright lousy. I think he'll be able to improve on his shooting touch but it could be a very long rookie year for him.

In which he was injured....

You see, that's the problem with non-Sixers fans.
Youse aren't used to missing long stretches of time with injuries.

Luke Walton said earlier in the season that he saw no reason to change how Lonzo shoots and said he believed LB would be fine. It clearly is not working

The 50% shooting from the stripe is actually something that should cheer up Laker fans. He was 67% FT shooter in college. He should be around that number if he was shooting as expected. So we should see him improve.

Fun facts :

Embiid had 46 points on 20 shots vs LAL last night at the Staples Center.
For the season, Lonzo Ball has 52 points on 88 shots at the Staples Center.

If Simmons missed his next 133 dunks, he would still have a better FG% than Ball.

Ball leads Fultz in head to head match ups by 2 points......

On the Staples Center, Embiid actually has 78 points there this year.

A 7'2" guy doing a Eurostep to the hoop is unfair.

Eventually. Maybe not this year.

The NBA ball has a different feel and the synthetic basketballs they use in High school and college are extremely easy to shoot with. It is an adjustment period for sure. Some make it quickly, most don't.

I think it's a little early to give up on Lonzo Ball who's only problem is shooting. He is doing all of the things in passing, setting up players really well. The young man has been going to the gym and working on his shot and eventually will figure it out and once he does, he is really going to bring the Lakers together nicely. The Lakers are still on route to win 30 games to 35 so I think they are doing about as good as most expected.

We'll see if they put together another patented 3rd quarter beatdown. Celtics are no joke.

1st half Ws bench outscored the Cs bench by 10, and they only have a 5 point lead. This is mainly because Curry was 1-8 shooting. If he gets right it's over.

Stevens outcoaching Kerr. He needs to put in the starters earlier to shut down this run
