Not a terrible loss by the Lakers. I'm glad they had enough fight in them to keep it interesting till relatively close to the end.

At the end of the day, they're not in the tier the Celtics are right now, but they're certainly making their way out of the bottom of the pack.

Can someone explain Luke's substitution pattern?

Baynes was ferocious on the glass.

But, playing Randle so few minutes is exasperating.

Yeah, you can justify wanting size on the Court with Bogut.

But, Brewer over a producing Randle?

From what I've read and heard, he's basically still developing his substitution pattern. So he's plugging guys in to different lineups and different situations to see how they respond.

If Luke's Crew still had Swappy P they would be undefeated right now. You simply can't replace his production in such a short amount of time.

Logic says yes, especially with Teague guarding him, but I'm going with Klay. He's going to be guarded by one of the premier defenders in the NBA in Butler, but I think Klay shows out tonight. Jimmy and Klay are always mentioned as the two best shooting guards in the NBA and I think tonight Klay will be at his best on both sides of the ball.

BTW what the hell is Thibs doing playing his starters with 4 minutes left in the game down 23 points. I don't understand it. He didn't pull KAT or Butler until the 3 minute mark if I recall. It's like Chicago all over again.

Flip side, Curry didn't play the entire 4th quarter. Klay was the only starter in there for big minutes in the 4th and he got pulled at around the 6 minute mark.

Well the real damage was done in the 3rd quarter where they put up 44 on the Wolves. But basically Klay and the second unit held them off.
