The Star had a story the other day about the McDavid lotto and the Leafs actually had a much better chance than any other team as of the final ball and one of the Leaf balls was actually headed into the slot but it bounced out at the last second and the Coil ball fell in.

He rang it off the post!

You just don't understand leadership, obviously. I actually saw a tweet the other night that said "maybe Crosby just said 'I wonder what would happen if I produced at a Toews level' for a few months." I lol'd. Toews is good, very good, but that teams success has been how it's been built around him and Kane.

Add in Quenneville's ability to get players to buy into whatever he decides needs to happen to expose the opposition's game plan. Dude's a fucking wizard.

I'm sorry to my American friends, but I just can't cheer for a team that is coached by that asshat Ron Wilson.

You should cheer for Sonny Milano and Zach Werenski before they get to the NHL and get wrecked.

One averages 109 pts per season, the other 72.

Is Phil Kessel more to your liking then? Because he averages 63 and is only two points behind Toews right now, and for him this data is also apparently clear and strong evidence of what a complete piece of shit he has become.

If you're Simmonds this is evidence that Kessel is a coach killer. Dude literally insinuated this.

The States have never defeated Russia in a medal round game in WJHC tourney history. Might as well get win number one today.

/I also can't cheer for Russia, no matter how much I loathe Ron Wilson.

Game televised on NHL Network here in the states.

NHL Network doesn't stream anything unless you buy their package. Which is different than NHL Center Ice, which I have.

Can't even find a radio stream. Guess it serves me right for being in America and having a job. One of the people who is actually interested in watching.

Well done :thumb:

TSN has video of the States first goal (Sonny Milano shows a nice burst of speed going wide around a Russian defender before finding Dvorak on the back door for a tap-in).

Two quick Russian goals late in period 2 stakes the Russkies to a 2-1 lead.

I'm pretty sure that the NHL Network always came as part of the Center Ice package when I had it in NYC and CT. Shitty that's not the case in Columbus.

I have Direct TV, and NHL network is part of the package. NHL Center Ice is a separate subscription that lets me watch all the games on Direct TV.

NHL Gamecenter live is a completely different subscription, different than Center Ice, that would allow me to watch NHL network online. And all games.

I don't need that because Direct TV allows me to stream TV to any device in my house (IE On my bike on rollers in the basement with my tablet on the bars) as long as it's on the same network as my receiver. And there aren't usually games on that I want to watch while I am at work.

NBCSports, Fox, ESPN, etc ALL allow me to sign in with Direct TV password and watch live games (Watch some Footy games that way while at work). But Not NHL Network. No. Because they want me to pay 150 bucks on top of the 100 bucks I already do.
