Fun exercise, will require some thought and creativity.
Scenario: it's Feb. 2016. The NFL season is over, and the Lions are preparing for the 2016 off season. Your job is to predict the future. You can begin with one of two scenarios:
1) The Lions are coming off a winning season with a playoff appearance (you can tell us if they won or lost).
2) the Lions are coming off a losing season (or 8-8) and missed the playoffs.
Here are the big questions to address:
Regardless of the scenario you choose -
1) what happens w Mayhew?
2) what happens w Xanders?
3) what happens w Austin?
4) who were the best of the best for the Lions in 2015?
5) who failed to meet expectations?
6) which players due for new deals do the Lions bring back? (Levy, Ngata etc...)
7) which players due for new deals are playing somewhere else in 2016?
8) which starters aren't starting for the Lions in 2016?
9) what positions are most needed for upgrade come draft day?
10) what position is addressed in round 1?
Winner with the most correct answers when we look back in week 1 of the 2016 season gets to help design the 2016 banner.
