VAN intends to sign Larsen on July 1 and have him join the NHL team for the 2016-17 season.

In my limited viewings of Larsen, he struck me a fine skater who might turn into a solid NHL player. Upon hearing the news that he's no longer part of the Oilers organization, I was able to find the following video of Larsen:
