you need a star in his prime though. Thats the hardest thing to get in the NBA- BY FAR....really you need 2-3 guys like that...even in Toronto to get to the ECF they had DeRozan and Lowry who are all stars in their primes.

the Bulls have that- its why i would never trade him- an all star 2 way player in his prime on a great contract- most valuable and rare asset in the league. Those are the guys that attract other players.

Raptors?
You think they beat the Heat if we had Bosh/Whiteside?

Bulls? Seems like the veteran players all want OUT of there. They should be the team that considers a rebuild IMO.

Well if he goes to the Heat, he is contradicting himself so that is out of the question.

It is between the Warriors and Thunder, possibly the Knicks.

But the Warriors would lose Ezeli and Barnes, then they would have to get rid of either Iggy or Bogut to free space for KD.

Crazy talk.
He was naming the cream of the crop back then.
He's now contradicting himself if he goes to the Warriors.

Yeah true. He still isn't going to the Heat though, I think the fact Lebron played there is even more reason he doesn't want to go there unless he really is going for just the rings but I think OKC gives him just as good of a chance.

You think Gilbert uses it?
Hopefully James pressures him into it.
He could potentially tie up over 30M/year in a bench player.

I think he stays put also.
I think the odds of him coming here now would increase IF Bosh was able to play, but thats likely not happening.
I say sign Whiteside and maybe Durant next year.

I have heard reports about Stephenson but I really don't want him but other than that there haven't been really any rumors of anything else. I hope he can get a big with it or a wing player but we will see.

He would be contradicting what he said 6 years ago. Much has changed between then and now. He is an unrestricted FA for the very first time. In 2010, he had limited experience in the league and probably could not imagine a world in which the Thunder had not won multiple titles by now.

Are they playing Simmons at the 4?

Plus, I love that kid they just drafted, Luwau.

He's a sf too. But, can play sg easily.

Guess that means Saric isn't coming.

Would be very easy to fake, right?

MTO doesn't strike me as a super credible news source.

They are the Black folks version of National Enquirer.

Seriously, there link is at the bottom of the TMZ PAGE...LOL

But, they get things right maaaaaaaaaaybe 25% of the time.

Slightly off topic but I like to give relationship advice....think of me as tHoop's version of Dr Phil.

If you can find a chick that will let you bang her ass......put a ring on it.

Yeah. Barnes does not make much sense as a target for them. Not a ton of backcourt options at the top of the class though, and they surely are not getting a player like Conley.
