Lets see the Cavs on the other hand....yikes....

conservative scenario...

LeBron 30M
Love 22
KI 19
TT 16
Shump 10
Frye 7
Dunleavy 5
RJ 3
JR est. 14

=126...LOL fucking A...keep writing dem checks Danny.....

anyway....

in reality- the only ones that really matter are:

LeBron 30
Love 22
KI 19
TT 16
and i highly doubt they move Dunleavy at a value of only 5 unless hes hurt- then they will decline....

87 for the 4 core guys....not counting JR.... they could very easily get off of Frye and RJs contracts if they wanted to---- Shump they could prob got off of too if he has a decent season at only 2 years 20....

That would leave 18M......im sure if you REALLY wanted to - you could deal Love and get a bunch of young cheap assets, and then sign a max guy.....

LeBron, KI, TT stay- deal Love for 2-3 young cheap guys- and then sign? I mean- it would have to be a non-brainer scenario......do you do that for Chris Paul? I dunno.....

its interesting to look at

The Heat wish is probably for McRoberts to have a solid first half that would make some playoff team feel like they need him

I wouldn't doubt it. I'm willing to trade him for a 2nd round pick to the Warriors for $10 and a 2nd round pick from 2030.

Warriors for 2017:

On the Books(assuming KD Opts out, which he will):
Klay Thompson: 17.8M
Draymond Green: 16.4M
Kevon Looney: 1.2M
Damian Jones: 1.2M
Pat McCaw: 900k
Jason Thompson(stretch provision): 945K
Steph Curry cap hold: 16.5M

Total: 55M

Warriors can retain Curry under Bird Right provisions, but they can hold off on resigning him to retain additional cap space. KD will likely sign for the max again at 30M.

So the Warriors have 85M in cap tied up with KD on the books retained.

With the cap being estimated now at 102(Luxury Tax at 122M), Warriors have 17M in cap space for a free agent. Warriors offer Nerlens Noel a 4 year 68M Deal (17 per). Warriors then re-sign Curry to Max at 30M per year. Salary increases his cap hold from 16.5M to 30M.

Curry - 30M
Thompson - 17.8M
Durant - 30M
Green - 16.4M
Noel - 17M

Looney - 1.2M
Jones - 1.2M
McCaw - 900k

Salary: 114.5M

Couple vet mins to round out the roster.

Jr is more efficient than waiters or crawford

He's a better 3pt shooter. But, Crawford whores him at the free throw line.

Career numbers look pretty comparable to me.

Jr .42% fg, .38% 3pt, 73% ft 13.2ppg

J Crossover .41% fg, .35% 3pt, 86% ft 15.5ppg

Waiters .41% fg, .33 % 3 pt, 70% ft 12.8 ppg

Which he likely won't sign.

Is this the hope within the Organization?

He doesn't benefit from this and it will be interesting to see whAt Presti does if he refuses.

Ps. Good luck with Olidipo. At this point, there is no way I would give him a max deal.

Hopefully he ups his game next Season.

Victor Oladipo Looking For Max Extension From Thunder - RealGM Wiretap

Yes the talk around here is now that the Thunder have the cap space they need to force Russells hand so they are not left once again getting nothing for him if he leaves. All indications point that he wants to be here. So basically the Thunder will give him the option to sign long term now, or trade him.

I always thought Durant would be the one to stay and Westbrook would leave. It would be ironic if this works out the other way round.

Well if he stays he is a better man then KD. I do think He should go to Boston or Lakers or Stay at OKC. I just hope he doesnt join a power team.
