Cavs fans - would u even want Demarcus Cousins? can u win a championship with him?

think its an interesting debate- not saying its happening or even remotely likely...just saying i dont even know if its a good idea.

Giving up whom/what to acquire?
I didnt read back if it was already discussed.

He would be the 3rd option in Cleveland. Given his track record, I don't see him being content with being the backup option to Kyrie on offense.

Then that would be poor execution from the Cavs offense IMO.

Why would it be different with Cousins, who can't space the floor as well as those two? He's going to clog the paint, cutting off Lebron's angles to the basket.

It makes no sense for a team that has a ball dominant PG and SF to invest heavily in a conventional center that will want his touches (or complain incessantly).

He makes $17M, so the Cavs would have to match that. It would probably have to be Love and at least one 1st round pick. They aren't going to trade Kyrie, and the Kings are going to want a hell of a lot more than TT.

Bosh was 24/10 when he left Toronto. In Miami, that became 18.7/8.3, 18.0/7.9, 16.6/6.8, and finally 16.2/6.6 in the 4 years with Lebron. Notice a trend? 1st year after Lebron, back up to 21.1/7 despite health issues.

I, personally , wouldn't blink an eye trading Love/meaningless 1st round pick for Cousins.

I agree they wouldn't be the least bit interested in Tristan, if he's the main piece.

I would give Love up in a second for Cousins.

This deal won't get done.

But, If you have the opportunity to add one of the best Centers in the Nba, you do it.

Demarcus has the mentality of a infant.

All the losing and dysfunction has exacerbated it.

He would fit well next to Tristan and would easily replace Love's scoring and rebounding.

People saying he won't be satisfied with being the 3rd option, how do you know?

Who's the best player he's played next to, Rudy Gay?

Let's see what he does in the Olympics playing with guys who are stars.

there have been rumors of a deal centered around Love and Cousins...Love step in as a stretch 4 to their myriad of centers

i seriously seriously dobut it happens andi dont even necesarily want the cavs to do it.....Love has proved he can take a step back- and besides for a few games in the finals and one or two vs. the raptors he played really well in the postseason and had stats.

cousins seems more trouble then he is worth- its hard to win with guys who's priority is not winning.
