Now that Brandon Bass is signed, what key free agents are still left out there that you're interested in? It'll be interesting to see where Lance Stephenson. He'll still got a lot talent and I was surprised to see that he is only 25 years old.

I disagree. Not much when you're Ben Simmons that you can gain from summer league when you're playing a ton of guys who will either be in suits nightly, in the dleague, or not playing basketball come November. Only thing those guys can use summer league for is to work on the part of their game that need work. Preseason to me is where you gain a lot. Summer league not so much

Yeah, because there's literally nothing that Simmons or any other top pick could be working on in summer league. It's not as if he struggles with mid-range shots or 3's or anything.

I clearly stated that summer league can be used for the top picks to work on part of their game that needs work. Are you blind?

You contradicted yourself in your own post. Working on things they need to work on is the whole point of summer league.

Better to be blind than stupid.

Yeah well the Cavs will have a weak spot if they don't sign him. If Mozgov got $16 I don't think he is crazy for wanting 15 especially since he took less last year. The fact is the Cavs need to sign him.

JR want 15 mill yearly

Shouldn't be a problem. He's their starting SG and the Cavs will have a huge hole in their roster without him. Besides, I've been told that money is not an issue for Gilbert. So I'm not seeing the issue.

Teams will be looking at Summer League players most likely.

Agreed. They should probably just go ahead and get him signed.

At this point it's just a higher luxury tax. But as mentioned before, shouldn't be a problem since I keep hearing Gilbert's willing to outspend everyone else by a country mile.

Pretty interesting sound bite from Riley that debunks that whole sacrifice thing the Big 3 did down in Miami. Riley had them all on 5 year deals where he could sign them as outright free agents. They then wanted Miller, who Riley told them they didn't have enough money. They give up some, then they wanted UD, rinse and repeat.

At the 11th hour, they came back and wanted a 6th year which required full Bird Rights under the old CBA. Which required the sign and trade. It would've been great having 5 players where maybe 2-3 of them work out. Probably would've been great against the Spurs in 2014 and improve depth.
