Just saw that. Kind of a head-scratcher to me.

Well I'm sure the Warriors did their due diligence. Could be like Alvin Gentry in that he'll make a far superior assistance coach than he was a head coach.

Holy crap. 2 years and just 129 comments?

I'm a busy man, but I just got a promotion in my job where I literally do nothing all day but sit in front of a computer screen, so i'll be a lot more active now.

True.

He has a solid reputation for his x-and-o defense and he obviously has GREAT experience for an assistant.

In other non-blockbuster news, the Warriors look like they're set to hire Mike Brown to replace Luke Walton on the staff. I think it's a solid hire. Not sure of any other "big" names out there they could have had to replace him.

He's a really good assistant imo.

Saw that you joined a few weeks before me. Did you refugee from another message board or this is new to you?

I came over with a bunch of refugees from Sports Illustrated's Fan Nation when they took away the boards and turned it into a Fantasy sports website that hasn't done much for them since.

Even with the cap going up.....he's not worth more than 10-12 per season imo, max 14 since he's similar to Tyson Chandler and he got that last summer. He may not be done but he's had a cpouple bad seasons. Needs to show he can still play before getting seriously paid but at 31 he doesn't have a lot of time left to prove that.

What anyone got paid last year doesn't really matter. Salaries for anyone in demand are going to skyrocket this summer. It's going to get ugly, and continue next year.

I used to be active on a sportscard site, i'm a collecter nerd. There are a lot of knowledgeable people there and it's about half sports talk and the other half cards. Other than that, I usually just stalk forums, but this one seemed pretty cool so I thought I'd join.

Do you get to run reports and boss people around.......or just sit in front of the computer and shuffle papers and try and look important while you look you're being busy and productive?

I don't have to try to look busy, I have an office right next to my boss and he watches youtube all day, sometimes we watch it together lol.
