I can still imagine Pitino's face when they realized they would not be getting Tim Duncan in Boston. Classy dude

Their tanking was strong. Lying about the severity of injuries etc.

It's why I hate the spurs...even more than the Lakers.

This is a joyous day for Celtics fans.

I've been waiting for this since 1997.

Well he did throw his mouthpiece at a fan. And yes, that comment was kind of a big deal. Cockiness. No to mention Klay said they were better than the Showtime Lakers before they even won a second title.

They booed Lebron every time he got the ball lol

Obviously he didnt mean it. And if you actually saw the interview klay was saying it jokingly, he really didnt actually think that. Lol

Not a surprise at all Klay would say that, he's a very cocky dude. I remember him skipping out on shaking hands after losing game 7, I might not like Green but at least he stuck around for that.

He was never serious about saying that though.

That may be true but Celtics org was owned/run by an idiot back in those days.

Doesn't mean SA should've gotten Duncan because of their own lies about Robinson retiring.

I really think Kay Felder is going to have a signifigant role with the cavs this season.

Watching him in summer league, he reminds me a little of Norris Cole in terms of how comfortable and at ease he is out there as a rookie.

No nerves, no trying to force anything... just running the offense, making sound decisions.

Cheaper, better alternative to Smelly Delly.

And become the Boston Suns?

They already have too many pgs.

But, he looks like he's gonna be terrific.

So does Rozier...gotta give him some Smart minutes if he can do that in the regular Season.

Smart is not the answer.

Dunn might've been.

You think Rozier is the answer?

Yes, I think Rosier is the answer based on outstanding Summer League play...lol

It's to early to tell.

I absolutely hate Marcus Smart.

But, yeah....like I said, if Rozier can carry on his shooting to the regular Season, he should get Smarts minutes.

I kinda understand why Danny went for a guy with Star potential instead of drafting at a position that they clearly are stacked.

But, he could regret it down the line.

If he wanted star potential he shoudl've gone Chriss or Bender.

Brown was the most obvious bust candidate in the top 10.

Winningest players in NBA history in terms of win % (min 1000 games)...

AiN2mXN.png

Duncan, Parker, Ginobili in the top 6.

(You'll also notice that only 1 of these players didn't play for the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, or Spurs) :D

Chriss is uber athletic.

But, what about his basketball I.q.?

I think both he and Bender have a better chance of being busts.

My only issue with Jaylen is that he looks like he's playing against a ghost out there.

He is a rookie. It's fine to try and be the Franchise guy in Summer League.

But, He can't pull that shit in the regular Season with Thomas and Horford on the roster.

Congrats to Timmy on a fantastic career. While it would have been nice to give him a great sendoff, his exit from the game is an exact parallel to his career. Bigs have been going to Hakeem for years for tutelage but if I'm an up and coming big, I go to Duncan for any sort of mentoring. Great player, great career, will be missed by the NBA.

The way he went out against OKC was the perfect send off.
