This is business.
Riley had to put the Beats interests ahead of his affinity towards Wade.
If you have to choose between two players, for whatever reason, the younger guy will usually win.

really? wow.....that kinda came out of no where. nicely done.....Gilbert will never look past an opportunity to better the shape of his franchise...
Same sources that told Woj that Whiteside was likely going to Dallas.
Credible is trying to be accurate, which I think he does.
Trying to be first, is also important, so they all just run with shit hoping to be right.
When they are wrong, then it's the "sources", and its not like they get fired.
That was the response to saying it was a no brainer to keep whiteside. I cant see how you give up a 20+ ppg scorer and call it a no brainer. Even if they hold teams to 85 points, they still have to score 86 to win.
They still had scorers with Jordan
It's bad business players see how wade was treated
He preaches loyalty and respect yet his is the 2nd player leaving feeling scorned and a sour taste and this was the most loyal player on the team
As for the actual business side wade is still good, and they could have easily found the extra 6 million, it wouldn't have been hard...ticket sales and wade merchandise will be gone and probably a lot of fans
And at one point you cheered for a team that Riley cheered for. Woj is one of the most credible people on here and I don't doubt that Riley was hoping Wade would bounce. But Woj also said that Dallas was likely to sign Whiteside. I don't care how Riley is in your eyes, in South Florida he knows how to put together good teams - that's all I care about.
He's no worse than Dan Gilbert. And you keep mentioning Wade not being the highest paid player. I provided a very details AND accurate description on why it isn't. The Heat never pressured Wade to take a pay cut, he did it willingly so UD could stay.
But keep reaching. Anytime you keep mentioning this bullshit, you can always reference the post you just referenced.
*mic drop*
How could they have found the other 6 million?
Give away Winslow?
That's ridiculous.
So what makes you right and these credible sources wrong. We all know Wade go lowballed. I will believe Woj 100% before I believe "your sources" or your opinion.
Accept it and let it go lol.

Future of the franchise vs stroking the ego of one player...ESPECIALLY when the money's not even available...
I know which way I'D go...
And he just went 10-31.
It's Woj. End of story.
When you are wrong, you make up shit. It's ok. Deal with the facts, you are wrong AGAIN
I will believe Woj over what you say. Deal with it or you can make shit up, it's up to you. And this has nothing to do with Gilbert, so stay on track buddy. The only one reaching is you. You are mad someone proved you wrong and brought the most reliable source to the table.
Have fun being at the bottom of the East bc the way they treated Wade you deserve it
*drops mic then picks it back up*....bitch
