Barnes was the issue though. Thats a point you dont get. He gets abused by him all the time. Also lebron is a all time great nobody can stop him if hes hitting the jumper. Also lebron had a couple great games last year but he scored 40 points sometimes while shooting 40 times in some of the games.
lebron was so inefficient because GSW could just load up on him...the cavs second best scorer- JR- was so ill equipped for that role its not funny. Golden STate got a taxed, tired lebron who had been carrying the cavs and had just about no help on offense- and lebron still willed it to 6 games.

good luck loading up on him with this super-saiyan version of Kyrie. you just cant do it...

Golden State's game plan was interesting---- the Cavs 3 pt shooting was ridiculous all playoffs until we faced Golden State because you guys mostly stayed home on everything and switched everything....very very little double- teaming.....you can modify that next year....but with every give their is a take.

I bet people said the same thing Bron's first year in Miami.

the difference is- the Cavs have LeBron. As i have said many many times throughout the playoffs- since they started in May.....the team with the best player and the team that is mentally and physically tougher USUALLY win in the NBA. That is without a doubt the Cavs. the sky is the limit with kyrie too....curry guarding him was a joke- so they put curry on shumpert as much as they could---- and kyrie still lit up thompson.

high level iso in the pick and roll is very very hard to stop---- i guess now with durant it might be different, but there is no question that kyrie and lebron are much better at attacking and finishing then anyone on golden state...

golden state runs a great system- and they will again be heavy favorites, but as long as they rarely go to the rim and have absolutely zero post presence, you can game plan a little for that offense since it can be pretty one dimensional- jump shooting- as we saw the thunder and cavs do.

Keep thinking that Durant's only going to be taking jump shots.

lol

cavs fans are pissed?

we just won the title, and have LeBron James- the best player in the world....and just watched 24 year old Kyrie put Curry on skates......a 24 year old Kyrie that sure does look like the future MVP candidate that LeBron said he was last winter/spring.

we have an owner that is willing to outspend any other owner in the league...a clear path to the Finals from now until who knows when, and the underdog role if Golden State makes it to the Finals- that lebron thrives in....

aside from Wade taking the mini-mid level to come here, im not sure how things could possibly get better to be honest with you.....

this was the dream 3 summers ago when the rumblings that lebron was not thrilled in miami and would look at Coming Home- and it has come to fruition in the best and most exciting ways possible.

Maybe he SHOULD'VE said LeClown dick-riders are pissed...:heh:

They gave Huertas a qualifying offer; that just makes him a restricted free agent and gives the Lakers the right to match any offer. He doesn't been offered a contract yet.
i actually think huertas is pretty slick....

Some team is gonna throw 8-10 million per at him.....at least. At least based off some these contracts this summer, unless most teams are capped out.

The smaller salaries haven't necessarily seen the same increase. It will take some competition for his services to drive the salary that high IMO.

Not a PG, but i'm starting to hear some buzz on Mo Harkless too...

Lakers are gonna have about another 12 to 14 mil to play with...

I think you have a misconception on Gilbert. Yes, Gilbert's willing to (or Lebron's forcing) him into spending well into the luxury. It's the roster you have with the players you have right now that presents that option.

Looking at the Warriors and what they have constructed, you'll likely see the same thing from the Warriors ownership as well. So it's a moot point that you keep bringing up.

And LOL @ Lebron thriving in the underdog role. He was the underdog in 2011, 2014-2016. He just now won once as the under dog.
Gilbert was fully ready to go into spending mode the summer lebron came back....he re-directed the plane from Indiana and Gordon Heyward to Miami and LeBron......he bought the pick that became kyrie for basically 40 million dollars, lol.....he bought tons of picks and assets....

its what OKC did, what the Sixers are doing, even what hte Lakers did to a certain smaller extent....you raze your team to the ground, rent out your cap space for assets, collect assets for 2-3 years and then try and form your team.....the Cavs said- SURE- ill take Luke Walton and pay him 15 million for your first rounder and a right to swap another first rounder--- the Cavs siad SURE- ill take Baron DAvis and the 42 million left on his deal for your lotto pick---- the Cavs said sure-- ill take Wayne Ellington and Speights off your cap for a first rounder....etc. etc....

If the Heat are smart- over the next few years they will replenish their depleted stock pile of picks to do the same thing.

the point is- if you are not ready to compete for a title- overpaying middling players in order to get the 7th or 8 seed just to say you are spending is not only stupid- but counter productive.....

Warriors played that defense because they can lol they have awesome defenders in iggy and green. I thought green on lebron and iggy on kyrie worked for the short period at times but kerr didnt wanna stick with it for whatever reason

KD has a long way to go to be as polarizing as Lebron.

It's not even close...lol

I love Lebron.

I'm not sure how this is different from him joining the Heat to play buddy ball or Aldridge going to the Spurs.

Yes, the Warriors are a established Team.

But, so we're the Spurs.
