Wade's regressing anyway. He took a huge step back last year statistically. At age 35 next year you think hes gonna be a draw to incoming free agents?

or do you think Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside are going to be a draw for other players? I certainly dont- not when you have other combo's that are WAAAY better.

shit- next year--- if you are trying to sell a max player on Dragic, Whiteside and a 35 year old Wade- i think id rather look at the Lakers with Ingram and Russell.

I'm def NOT onboard any huge/ long term Wade signing, but he was fine last year and well deserves a nice sized 2 year deal.

I'm not wasting my time debating the other shit with you, but I agree we need some outside shooting. It's no secret.

Not saying Durant is coming, but I'm not going to say Im ruling it out, just based on evaluating EVERYTHING that could run through his mind.

We have no clue what he was told about Bosh..., but I'm sure it was discussed and they were honest about it.

But then you have Mannix and other guys saying that he won't wanna do free agency again next year, and he's not signing long term in OKC without knowing what Russ is doing. He's got Jerry West and Tom Brady whispering in his ear. His head must've been swimming yesterday lol.

I still feel like it's OKC but I won't be shocked if it's not.

Who do you think it could be?

i dont even know if you could have a starting lineup of:

PG- Dragic
SG- WAde
SF- Winslow
PF- Bosh
C- Whiteside

do you realize how little spacing and shooting that offense has?

Wade had his best statistical season in the last 5 years last year.

still saying OKC, but i'm STILL not 100% on that...

If I HAD to guess, I'm still saying OKC on the 1/1, but I was near 95+% on that a few days ago.
I'm now saying OKC 51%, Heat 25%, Warriors 19%
Not feeling Celts at all right now, but I have to give them at least 5%..

If I recall, Deng said the Cavs were basically a mess.
The man was solid as hell during his 2 seasons here.
Hopefully he brings to the Lakers what they are hoping for.

By most accounts I've read.....he's a solid locker-room presence. And I think that's what Mitch was shooting for with our 2 free agent signings. Veteran leadership.

I think his days in OKC are numbered.

If he leaves this year, it will be Golden State. Next year, it will be Boston. Either way, it is a matter of time before he makes it official.

He still can ball. He didn't come to the league straight out of HS.....he's had some injuries but he doesn't have a ton of mileage on him. He can play another 2-3 seasons. I really like him.

On one hand, I'd wouldn't won't him to leave a title team to join up, but on the other hand, there's a part in me that wants to see the mass chaos that would break out if he joined the warriors...

Wade was very good, most of last season.
During stretches where we were loaded with games, of course it showed, but who expected anything different?
He didn't even try many 3's, but showed in the playoffs it's there if needed.
In the playoffs he was very good most games, in general.
He stayed pretty healthy, but he put in a TON of work last summer.
Will he be that proactive this summer with his body?
Who knows..

Like I said, 2 years, nice money is fair IMO, or go more years, less average cash, and let him mentor as 9th man 3-4 years from now.
