2016 NBA Off-Season Thread

HEH, ITS OVER if KD goes there. They become the greatest starting 5(outside of the dream teams) and there is no possible way to defend them. Then there's also talk of Dirk going there as well which would be downright unfair...

there is only one ball though. I mean- sending Kawhi Leonard to the Warriors would scare me more than sending Durant at this point......the question remains? who covers LeBron and who covers Irving?

of course GSW would be the favorites - but they were teh favorites this year too- and the Cavs would likely just do the same thing- load up on the perimeter and make the rest of the team beat you- and the rest of the team outside of those 4 would be garrrbaaage....


if he went to Boston and they went all out and traded for Butler--- now THAt would start giving me some heartburn....

like i said- there is only 1 King in the NBA- and he resides in Cleveland.

Going to the Warriors brings up the too many superstars on one team dilemma. Some may laugh at this but it's true. Sometimes these guys who have tremendous egos don't know to split up the star time. Curry and Thompson are used to taking the big shots......how will they react to KD coming in and wanting some of that?

Boston has a solid nucleus......he'd make them the 2nd best team in the EC.

I still wouldn't put them past Cleveland. You can damn near put KD on any team in the East, and most of them would be the 2nd best team.

Warriors weren't very good, most of the series, yes..partly do to Cavs adjustments, but it came down to 1 minute.

You should pray Durant stays in OKC.

It's funny how little credit you give the Cavs for being the only team in history to win it all after they were down 3-1. If it would have been the Cavs that lost the Finals after being up 3-1 words like epic failure & chokers would have been used to describe them.

KD would actually fit the Crltics perfectly IMO. He is the clear #1 option, play in the weaker conference for now (might be the stronger conference once he goes there LOL). And they have a very solid defense and talent around him to compete for a long time.

An acquaintance of mine who has relationships with the Celtics is saying Durant has informed Boston he is signing with them.

Not sure if BS but a somewhat believable source.

I've given the Cavs credit.
They made history.
That has nothing to do though, with stating the Cavs far from dominated them.
Series came down to 1 minute, and Kyrie stepped up and nailed a dagger.
