Hawks better be searching hard for a back-up point guard. Schroeder is quite literally the only one on the roster right now, and we've currently only got roughly $5 million in cap space. Need to move Splitter, re-sign Humphries for cheaper than what we would otherwise owe Splitter, and use the rest of that to get a decent back-up PG.

Sure.....but I disagree on having to look hard. Schroeder is young.....he's going to average 35-36mpg. You only need somebody for say....10-12mpg.

I guess it all depends on what adjustments the Hawks make. We've been running a two point-guard set whenever Korver is not on the court. I'm unsure if we're going to continue to do that. I guess it all depends on how good of a back-up we get. Personally, I would prefer to start Hardaway Jr. (shooting guard) and see how he develops in our system, and just let Korver come off the bench.

I've seen tweets that the Kings don't have interest in Ellis or Stuckey, which would make it tough for the Pacers to make the trade.

If they get Gay? I'd put them as the 2nd best in the EC. Larry had a plan this offseason and he's executed it well so far. Getting Gay (LMAO) would be the finishing touch on an amazing transformation without acquiring a bona fide superstar.

For Lakers fans wondering what type of person Luol is.

He was one of the FA's that I hoped the Lakers would target and didn't think they'd get. I'm really happy with this signing. I'm actually shocked that the Lakers got him.

Seems like he's excited about his role too. I read an article where they said that he likes the potential of the Lakers young guys and that he talked to Luke and was "pleased with the conversation."

I don't know what Luke could have said to him to get him to want to come to a 17 win team, but I know I'm hoping to be able to get him to speak on my behalf the next time I piss off my wife.
