3 years ago Riley met with LeBron in Vegas. LeBron does not sign.

last year meets with Aldridge. Aldridge does not sign. @TurnUpTheHeat brags about how Riley can get a meeting with him.

this year with Durant. Durant WILL not sign. @TurnUpTheHeat brags about how Riley can get a meeting with him.

My guess? CP3. Riley will meet with CP3. @TurnUpTheHeat will tell us how awesome Riley is to get a meeting with him. ANNNND he will not sign.


LeBron signed with an in-his-prime Wade because Wade was awesome and Wade was his buddy.

KD in Miami would be awesome imo.

KD and Whiteside? Build around them? That would be an easy sell for Riles.

id rather have him to go San Fran. then Boston.....there is still only one ball on the court- so go ahead go to GSW....Boston- in the East- with the ability to maybe go get Butler.....that might set up a pretty good battle or two.

Id have to go back to REALLY REALLY hating the Celtics again....so i guess it wouldnt be all bad...lol.

It is impressive that Riley can get a meeting even when the players knew that it was basically impossible for Miami to sign them at that point....which was the case with LA last year and KD this year. Just shows how much players respect him that they're willing to meet with him even know Miami can't pay them what they want at that time

Hawks better be searching hard for a back-up point guard. Schroeder is quite literally the only one on the roster right now, and we've currently only got roughly $5 million in cap space. Need to move Splitter, re-sign Humphries for cheaper than what we would otherwise owe Splitter, and use the rest of that to get a decent back-up PG.

Dragic wouldn't be here if they signed Durant. Impossible. For Durant to not eliminate Miami considering our situation tells me that Pat and the boys left a great impression on him

Also nice given that the Heat have Winslow and Richardson as well who are developing nicely. Too soon to tell on Weber, even though I'm hearing good things about him.

While I think he stays in okc....this is all eerie because the first time that I heard of "The decision", I said "Lebron can't possibly do that to Cleveland on live tv". Now, the first time I heard of KD/Players tribune I thought "no way he does that to those fans on such a public form". No way he does that...right?
