This giant salary jump is no going how I envisioned.

Supply and demand is going to force teams to have a couple gigantic contracts, then a roster of fillers.
If those giant contracts aren't for stars like Durant/Westbrook, James/Kyrie, etc., you pretty much can't win.

That was before we went FA shopping. We added 46.5 million in Clarkson, Mozgov, and Deng. At 69.5 million right now and the cap will jump from 94 to 110 million.

SF- Butler
PF- Mirotic/Gibson
C- Lopez

that team could contend for the 2nd seed in the East without a doubt. Would have a solid bench too in Dunleavy, Mirotic, Calderon, Portis, etc.....

That would be very interesting. If they were able to bring Pau back, they could be a little scary. I think your Cavs would still be the favorite in the East, but an upset wouldn't be out of the question.

He might have been a bench player for the Cavs....he'll be starting and playing 30-32 mpg for us. We needed a C.

And he can still play.....he's hardly ancient. He'll be close to a double-double.

We need a backup SG and some league minimum guys to fill out the roster.

They may play Ingram at SG and bring Clarkson off the bench as the backup SG......that could work. Stick Deng at SF and that's not a bad starting 5 with Deng and Mozgov as veterans to balance out the youth.
